Well I was going on the "Priest/Priestess/Deacon/Acolyte/Acolyte" layout, so it would make sense for the priestess to train her own acolyte. Or for that to be part of the deacon's role.

I feel so sorry for Bree, she's so lonely (duh, she is THE lonelygirl).

I dunno, but maybe Lucy had done the cermony when she was younger, as she seems to be teaching Bree the correct walk in Daniel's stalker-vid. Plus she's old enough that if she ahd done it at Bree's age it would qualify for a long time ago.

I don't think she's Girl #2. I think we meet Girl #2 later. I don't even think Lucy is a really major character, aka I don't think we'll see and Lucy vlogs. i'm pretty sure all the main characters will be on YouTube. Plus, she hasn't ever said any lines. She's only had a little more air time than Bree's dad.

Based on some of the info I have gathered, I have reason to believe there may be a connection between "Lucy" and Lucy Lawless of "Warrior Princess" fame. What was her religion anyway?

I agree with those of us who say that Lucy looks a little too much like that high school teacher who also tried to be your hip friend.

It appears Bree (from body language) may be getting that vibe, too.

Lucy=Lucifer=Light Giver seems plausible. Crowley did love to re-work biblical characters/themes. It explains her light blonde hair (but I think that might be an irrelevant coincidence).

But I think she is, by and large, a mislead. The Creators all know we are expecting the 3rd character/ new girl. They toyed with us with Cassie... I think they are toying with us now, too.

Lucy is too old to be the 3rd character. So I think she is just a helper hired by her parents... But which parent? The one who likes FREE WILL or the one who likes DETERMINISM?

Maybe Lucy is someone who had a crisis of faith herself when she was younger, and decided to remain in whatever Gnostic religion Bree's family practices. Her parents know very well, since Bree broke down and confessed her sneaking out and that Daniel's refusal to accept her religion has hurt her deeply, that their daughter is chafing a bit at the strict lifestyle. Lucy might be not only a ritual specialist, but someone who Bree can talk to about where she wants to go with her religious life.
