And the only real point I disagree with soma on is that I'm not sure there were gamejacks at all. For me the jury is still out on that.

Yeah.... my phrasing in all that was rather poor.
I agree, we needn't be handholding and little children fearful under our covers. The reason I voiced my concern there was because when I first started studying the second CiW video, there were a LOT of threads and links and discussions that got really dark and twisted quick. And some of the websites that somehow got worked into the posts for tracking the information were the types of things I hadn't been to much since, heck, the early days of the internet. Dark demented depraved stuff. And these people were consistently posting similar stuff and leading a bunch of people pretty dark.
I seriously don't mean to sound like I'm scared -- I'm not. I'd be hitting those deaddrops, and visiting wherever. But I'm smart enough to be cautious.

Odds are it's nothing. Possibility is that somebody has beaten us to the drop site, hacked our phone systems, and so forth. So likely, it's nothing --- possibly, it's serious. So just be smart.

I understand what you mean. I dunno if it's the way I am or the fact that I grew up during the height of slasher flicks, Faces of Death and reruns of 70's satanic movies or that I am twisted a bit but very little disturbs me.
Especially a 1 second distorted crime scene picture...

Different people get offended by different things. I too was not offended by said 1-second distorted crimescene picture. I can understand why some were, but I agree there was an overreaction.
