Sorry to bugg but can we get a list of the ones they did NOT go to?
Why do I have a sinking feeling Ukiah is one of them? 
If it ends up being ukiah then I will be shocked that my initial gut feeling as right... But it is WAY out of the way...
Not to anyone going out there: It is in the middle of nowhere. Get gas before you go and take a snack. Also be carefull not to miss it..

that does make sense too. My thought about Imagin was just a me trying to grasp for an answer why we didn't find anything last night.
Ukiah makes a lot of sense seeing its a rural area, and thats where Jonas lives (in a rural area)

It's true that that's been there for some time now, but the fact that Op pared it down to just this must be a way of bringing our focus in.
Now, I can think of at least one reason why not, but have we all the way ruled out that Gemma is running the Op site? She's really the one that has "rumors of death".... right? idk... could be too big a stretch.  |

Now I think this is better suited in another thread (Maybe we should make a new one?) So I will be brief...
I do think there is a chance that She could be the one running it... And maybe because she had the vid of herself "In the Crosshairs" that she was saying... "You think you were gonna get me.. But I got you!"
I dunno... I do think this theory is threadworthy though...

| Cells generally don't come in out at Dillon Beach -- at least the Sprint and Verizon ones didn't last year when we were there. So I'd say that no, there's no towers nearby, most likely. (Or weren't. It could have changed now with the ubiquitous nature of cellular phones.) |

I used to work for sprint/nextel. Just checked the coverage map and there is supposedly "clear voice and data" coverage for zip code 90023 (Dillon Beach) |

Remember how that first drop was in an OpAphid video but it was a Tachyon drop that we swiped for OpAphid?
This is like a Daniel drop that OpAphid is asking us to swipe. No way to get clues out of Daniel though since they are on the run. Hmm.
From that email though it sounds like Op wants us to do the legwork and help track down Jonas' location by finding this fake ID.
So we're not only playing an ARG that's just as tied into lonelygirl15 as OpAphid/Tachyon now, but we're aren't we kind of also helping the bad guys go after Bree, Daniel, and Jonas?
Kinda neat.
I wonder if Daniel is going to start getting holes in his pockets and every few days we have to send someone to the middle of nowhere to find a random item he lost. After awhile the breadcumbs can lead us to Jonas' mansion! |
