It's a possibility, but I really do think he used his time with her to tell her as much as he could about the Order. He probably knew they'd track him down and kill him at some point.

Diapers can be so distracting can't they? I always have to change one right in the middle of a video or a post or whatever....hence the delay I usually have.
I was under the impression that Jonas drove him..but I haven't checked the video again to see if that is a valid assumption.

I think that Bree probably thought ahead, (much like she apparently did when her and Daniel were on the run), and packed some clothes to take on the road with her. I'm sure she suspected that it might possibly be a while before they found Daniel.
As for stopping at a hotel on the way to Local Guy's house...well, in their last video, it was getting rainy and dark. I think we're to presume that "Sleep Over" was filmed the same day/night as "Looking for Daniel".

Maybe they didn't say anything because they honestly didn't notice him, or think anything about his presence there.

I always figured that Jonas drove him and dropped him off. That's why Jonas made sure Daniel had his phone - so he could call him when he was ready to leave. |
Regarding them not seeing her dad... how many times has there been a watcher in the background that they haven't seen lol |

The 'Looking for Daniel' video was posted around 7:05 pm while the latest video was posted a day later at 5:38.
I can understand why they would stop driving as it was getting late. The local doesn't live a whole day away, Bree and Jonas just started their search late.
However, it took them until 5:38 the following day to find someplace to upload their video. Had they already found the local by then? They should have.
This time frame kinda bugs me a little bit...

Very true! Plus, with Bree under the assumption that her father is dead, I doubt that she's actively looking for him. She's focussed on a bigger issue right now.

That's what I'm saying....and why would they stop on a cold and rainy night while searching for their friend to upload the video...Well, I guess they could have done it after they had checked in, and then uploaded the next one the next day, but wouldn't that mean that either nothing had happened the next day, or that they hadn't found the stranger wouldn't it?
I know, I know, the uploading question requires a big suspension of belief, but this one does strike me as a bit odd.

Not necessarily. He may know the general area around his house and the bowling alley, but he might not be all that familiar with the area up in the mountains. And, if they are presumably going up to the Clearlake area like I suspect they are, it takes a while to get up there, (I know from experience).
Plus, I believe they got a late start, and it started raining and got dark, which probably drove them to get off the road.

Well, I'm certainly an advocate of suspending disbelief, but yeah, there has to be a plausibility to this since the entire concept is centered around a perceived reality.
I suppose, if I were writing this, I'd have to make the next vid uneventful, just to keep things in 'real time' and catch up with the events as they unfold. Maybe the local guy isn't home, or there's an angry pitbull keeping them in the car (though pitbulls aren't very good actors. They may need a stunt double.) Maybe they break down (A cross-country trip. An unexpected breakdown. The trap has been set.)
Maybe they go to the movies or shop for turkey jerky, I dunno. However (and why am I saying this?) the next video needs to be uneventful. Excepting the bull dog, of course.

Alright no way do I have time to read all these pages but this video was totally unexpected after the last one, no mention of the weird cut off at the end of their last video?
Based on the quotes trainer got from the movies he mentioned, I feel like Jonas is going to have some kind of mental breakdown. I think his avoidance of sharing a bed with Bree probably further indicates his religious beliefs. He seems extremely uncomfortable with the whole situation of the Order. I don't see how he could be with the Order at all.
He wears a cross necklace. He celebrates Christmas. He isn't with the Order.... I feel sorry for him in this video. He seems completely disoriented by circumstances. He is profoundly terrified, and I think that is clear.
I think this adventure is truly impacting Jonas the most negatively. He isn't used to this 'society' thing. He is used to living in complete independence, being able to drink and party and do whatever. I just really want to hug him right now, lol. We already know he suffers from some mental weaknesses- he sees a shrink.
PS- he may have insecure attachment issues. It seems like he yearns for a close relationship, and he lives in fear of losing whomever he cares for. His parents - what happened to them? His nanny - her too! And now Daniel. Every time he gets close to anyone, they leave. I think his psychological issues are completely understandable.
And I don't think he is with the Order.
I was thinking that maybe the bartender who gave him the information is actually in on it. Hmm, I don't know.
Lastly, I do hear that creeky noise at the end. Sounds like a door or a bed squeaking. Maybe Bree moved, or maybe someone came inside? Also, notice the lights are on. Bree also said to Jonas, "we can leave the bathroom light on while we sleep if you want to" and Jonas didn't really address her suggestion.
Scared of the dark Jonas? lol.
Edit to add: I also want to point out that because Jonas has grown up in such isolation, he actually makes Bree seem less naive. I kind of like it. He's oblivious to things such as the Order that affect people's lives. Not everyone lives in a mansion all alone and just goes bowling and drinking, dear Jonas. Bree, on the other hand, has always been our innocent, somewhat ignorant character. Jonas makes a lovely foil character in that aspect.
