took my baby to the vet today.. and he said she's gonna have to have mild treatment type things forever..
only he scared me.. he said the more frequent it got, the worse the case developed..
so.. what to do??!!
thanks for listening if you don't have an answer.. just have this worrying the back of my mind, I think..

umm anal gland issues?? like what if it is just an impacted anal gald it shouldnt be to much of a prob.....unless it happens all the time then it could get serious but if it is the first time .....ahhhh what kind of prob? _________________ Official Guard dog of the LG Defense Force

the Dr. said once it happens.. it will happen again.. and again.. and again.. but I have to be careful, cause the more it gets emptied.. the faster it fills..
soo...
I don't know how often 'often' is.. when I asked him.. he said he can't tell, it's her first time.. he's got no clue how bad it will be..

most animals that I have seen with that problem dont have serious recurring probs with it...just keep an eye on the animal and it will be ok
you know you can drain it at home if you need to _________________ Official Guard dog of the LG Defense Force

I saw that, in a beagle book I've got.. but after seeing how many times he sprayed her with cleaning stuff etc.. not sure I'd attempt it, lol!
it'll work out, I'm sure I'm stressing over nothing.. it's the unknown factor that's getting me here, I'm sure!
tomorrow will be research.. another call to the vets.. and I'll have a handle on it!
thank you for being here, Stuart.
huggers.
I'm sure not many people stay up til all hours, stressing over a dog, but.. lol.. some of us are weird, I guess.. and it's nice to know there's someone who understands! _________________

its not weird to worry over yor dog I would freak if my sandy got hurt or sick.....
and the gland thing isnt as bad as it looks you can clean it up with Iodine when you get finished....its kinda like squeezing a tender pimple..(grosss I know but hey its what it is like) _________________ Official Guard dog of the LG Defense Force
