I'm kind of in a Catch 22.......I don't like people yet I want instant access to everything. 
I grew up in the middle of nowhere. Talk about living hell for a teenager! Probably why I was such a deviant.

Me too. I'm the person I hate at work. You can totally see me through the door and I still won't answer it. Really, I wish everyone wouldn't come to the door. I like my job except the few minutes a day where I actually have to see the people and hand them their ugly crap. I'd rather leave everything at the door.

I'm the same way with the phone. I don't like chitty chat. Leave a message. I will call back only if I have to....and even then I try to call when the person can't answer so I can just leave a message answering their question. If I can e-mail the answer, I do that instead.

Yeah, I second that too...except for when I'm drunk. I will call everyone in my phone when I'm drunk and talk until I pass out. Then I have to do damage control the next morning.

Dude...I NEVER answer the phone. People who know me know to start talking and if I so choose I'll pick up before they are done leaving a message. That's also why I like answering machines...I know who you are AND what the hell you want before I answer...if I answer.
It's like...I've found my people...here...

Every message on my phone is like, "You're such a bitch, answer your god damn phone!" or "Why don't you ever pick up?" or "I'm sure one day I'll actually talk to you.." or "I'm calling you back AGAIN. I don't know why, you never fu*king talk to me"
