I'm not saying that there isn't any way the cowboy could be a watcher, but I can see how Jonas might get the idea that they don't wear cowboy hats.
Watching the videos, all the people we have assumed to be watchers are all wearing black suits and sunglasses. (lol, maybe the watchers are all FBI!)
None of them (that we've picked out) have been wearing anything casual at all. Now we have a guy in jeans and a cowboy hat. He doesn't, to me, fit the "profile" of a watcher.
Besides, I really can't see some mountain redneck (and as a former Texan, I use that term respectfully) getting caught up in that kind of cult religion.
Working as a flunky for the Order? Yes. An actual part of the Order or watcher. I'm thinking no. |
Lol at the redneck/order connection. He is a flunky, I'm sure of it. But even though I am not of the Jonas is part of the Order camp, I think this could be a little ammunition for that side. _________________ Everything in the World Began with a YES! |

I think they are following the wrong van...the guy beside the white van in the parking lot did NOT look like this cowboy they are following. |

I feel exactly the same way. And to add to that I think that sometimes the creators really meant for there to be a puzzle, and sometimes they pick up on it from the forums and make it one. AND sometimes they probably change their answer according to what they see here. I'm also wondering what they do if we completely miss one too......( eg. the Celtic Cross from the last video could have meant something.)
To come back on track a bit here, I am also a bit curious about Creepy Cowboy when he came out to the van. How come he was walking around to the back on the passenger side? If he was just going to get in and leave wouldn't he have gone to the driver's side? Maybe it was just for camera angles or something though.. _________________ Everything in the World Began with a YES! |

Maybe the fact that he looked at Bree in the vehicle with a video camera looked a little suspicious and he went to look at what she was filming. |

A lot of people have been connecting Jonas and the cowboy because Jonas used to spend a lot of time in the bowling alley, and the cowboy is a "local". And if the cowboy is working for the Order, that must connect Jonas to them as well, in a round about way.
But I've been thinking about this. Nowhere did it state that the cowboy was a regular to the bowling alley, just a local. Now if this is a small community with a rural area, even though he doesn't live in town, the cowboy might spend a lot of time there -- grocery shopping, picking up odd jobs, etc. The rural people who spend a lot of time in town and have lived there for ages might be considered local.
This doesn't mean that he's spent a significant time in the bowling alley. Maybe the he's an Order flunky and was sent in that particular night to nab Daniel.
Why does the bowling alley employee know the cowboy's address? Maybe he's a friend of his. Maybe he's done some work with him. Heck, maybe he works part time delivering mail on the rural route.
It doesn't mean that Jonas has even ever known the cowboy. CB (because, darn it, I'm tired of typing "cowboy") looks much older than Jonas. Even if they were in a bowling alley at the same time, chances are they were not hanging with the same crowd. I think it's perfectly reasonable to think that they may have not ever really met each other at all.
Cuz, darn it! Jonas is not bad. *stamps foot* |

I truly thought the vans looked different in the last videos, but don't think the man looks much different. I dunno it seems like a few too many coincidences two spying, creepy, blending in cowobys who drive white vans into the mountains? There would be much 'splaning to do on that one. _________________ Everything in the World Began with a YES! |

But aren't they following the van from the address that the bowling alley gave them? This is the guy that Daniel left with.
Or are you saying that the bowling alley through them on a wild goose chase, and that Daniel is with a completely different fellow (parkinglot van guy) and was never with the guy at that address (creepy cowboy dude) at all? |

That would make me so mad if they did it....but it would be kind of funny if they just came up with totally ordinary explanations for everything....and it turned out Bree was just a girl with a very active imagination being stalked by some video makers who named themselves after aphids.... _________________ Everything in the World Began with a YES! |

Good point. I think that the two are one in the same. |

He said that the cowboy did odd jobs, right?
Maybe he was hired to kidnap daniel by the order or something?

Yep! That's the theory I'm working under! An Order flunky, who knows nothing but he got paid to talk some kid out into a parkinglot.
Where the Order nabbed him!!
They probably told him that he was a runaway, or had been brainwashed by a cult (wouldn't that be ironic!) and he would be doing a good thing.
So if Jonas and Bree would just go talk to him, they'd probably have a lot more to work on. |

I just got up and watched this video. I am going crazy now. WHere the heck is daniel. I knew for sure he was going to be in that van tied up. Maybe next time that guy leavs his house Jonas should used his skills to check out the house. _________________ Yeah, Jackson's Number One Friend on Myspace is Totally HOT!! |
