"It grows like cancer" could refer to the answer/problem/situation. _________________ cassie is my homegirl |

Guys, I have to go to work in about 2 minutes so I only read pages 18 and 19. Has anyone looked up Frank Bennett?

Quote: |
After spending the war-years in America, Crowley returned to Europe, eventually finding his way to Cefalu in Sicily, where
he founded his 'Abbey of Thelema.' This was visited by a small number of converts from throughout the world, including
Frank Bennett, then head of the O.T.O. in Australia.
By this time Crowley's unorthodox beliefs and activities - which included the use of sex and drugs in occult ritual - had been
the subject of considerable hostile and sensational comment in the press, and as a consequence he was expelled from Italy in
1923. After wandering, often near-destitute, from country to country for a number of years, he returned to more or less
permanent residence in England in 1929. He continued to attract a small number of followers to his magic and 'law of
Thelema,' and it was they who generally underwrote the costs of his often lavish publications. During the Second World
War he moved to a boarding house in Hastings, and it was there that he died in 1947. |
This site may be worth looking at too, Crowley wrote a book about Frank Bennett http://www.lashtal.com/nuke/Article354.phtml

Does that second line make sense? It uses all the letters. |
sounds pretty good, and more reasonable than directing saying "Aleister Crowley" in the second line. I think we're focusing too much on working in names, like Frank Bennet...whoever made this wouldnt make it that obvious. |
I like it, but I'm not sure how much sense it makes. But if Kelrast is right, that line is supposed to have 8 words. _________________ "Cheese it!" *runs* |

totally makes sense. we're all begging for clues. while we're begging this, whatever it is, is growing like cancer. I think it works great. |

The thing is it's such awkward wording - "our" lead? Who's "our"? Are we and Cassie suddenly a team now? That's never how she's phrased it before. It sounds like instructions, but who is she instructing? We can't be expected to "drop our lead". The thing is since she was making the anagram, she could easily make it something more poetic and interesting like she did in the poem. This doesn't seem like the right answer to me. |
I agree, this possible solution hasn't made sense to me either from the beginning. Although, there are some good words in there, such as Holy. It's very possible that the true solution uses the word holy, or book for that matter. |

This may have already been suggested, but the "Helter Skelter" lyrics say "When you get to the bottom, you go back to the top of the slide."
We're kind of at a metaphorical bottom, maybe we should go back to the top of the slide? Has anyone thought of rechecking the park? Was the second clue found at the bottom of the slide? |

Uh, anybody think that the first revelations chapter in the bible could be significant? The title of the movie is Revelation 1 and the movie does seem to be the bible's pages flipping (remind anybody of bibliomancy?). |

Kelrast wrote: | The key to solving the lines last time was the number of words per line, which Cassie was forced to provide us.
Maybe this time she gave us the number of words per line in the anagram itself.
Therefore:
MEL LEM LET LET HATE LET MERL NEWS
has eight words and
TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME THE ANSWER
has eight words. |
I tried to solve 2 of the lines with this assumption, and I still couldn't come up with anything. Also, unfortunately the anagram site I'm using only allows for a max of 6 words. Therefore I would determine two on my own, and then put the leftover letters into the anagram solver. Problem is it was just to much for it and I got 'exceeding your time limit' error messages |

It could make sense, but it's the only solution I've seen so far that uses all the letters for line 2. |
