Okay I'm new and I'm expecting to get raked over the coals for this. I've been reading the boards the past few days. I've been following the exploits of LG15 for a month or so, but only recently really became addicted. I've looked again but haven't found much reference to the comment about Bree's foster/adoptive parents NOT being of the Order of Denderah. But Bree is? Her "mother" might have been further up within the order, but she still wasn't "Denderah." (referencing "Learning to Drive")

I also found this when I searching and figured I'd share it. It's regarding Hathor at this site http://library.thinkquest.org/03oct/01263/Egyptian.htm#hathor

The quote is found within the copy of another post at this forum but the focus was on other points regarding Hathor's role in Egyptian mythology. But I've been thinking about for a while now -- about what Bree's role really is and why it's so important that she does this ceremony. There's been some comments and joking about her being an alien. I even commented once in jest that she would mutate into a monster and destroy Petaluma.

" Hathor took on an uncharacteristically destructive aspect in the legend of the Eye of Re. According to this legend, Re sent the Eye of Re in the form of Hathor to destroy humanity, believing that they were plotting against him."

Bree the destroyer?

Also, Brighid or "Breed (Bree?) is also a fertility goddess that helps women in childbirth and healing such as Hathor's role was also, I believe, (as well as being the goddess of poetry, wisdom and arcane learning.)

Anyway, just a thought. I'm wondering what anyone else might think.

Thanks,

Zim

Hmmm. Well, dunno, maybe she'd be used as a weapon. I don't expect she would wipe out humanity. That might be a bit beyond the reach of the creators. I'm still reviewing videos and trying to see where my idea takes me.

Hmmm, I think I heard Petaluma mentioned at some point. Maybe in one of the bowling recaps. I've been to California and passed briefly through Petaluma and the name has always stuck with me.

Secretly, that's the real reason, Amadeus. Glad you told me you've moved, what town are you in now? We'll send Bree over. Razz
