We can't give him such proof that he's doing these things. He cannot become aware of what is happening, we can only encourage what is happening.

This is an ARG..your comments could infuence the outcome. Do you want Frank to sit in a tree with his rifle and blow a hole in Bree's pretty little head? Be aware that your comments could send Frank down a doomsday path for the story. We just don't know. If you can't write to Frank and find some commonality with him I do not see how your comments can be helpful to us or to Frank. What I did here..was tell the truth..I searched my life for some commonality with Frank. I left out details such as the voice in my head that wouldn't shut up(more than usual) was my own and left me at a point to where I was nearly paralyzed because I was so overwhelmed with everything I had to accomplish to just get my life back to sub-normal.
I suggest that when role playing, especially if you are a novice...be yourself as much as you can be within the story. It's much easier to play yourself. If Frank ever wrote to me and wanted to discuss my voices I could answer him consistently and handle any question he had towards my situation without having to bat an eye. For some..this may be too open for them..I see it as therapeutic to speak openly about my struggles in life..to each their own.
Additionally, I paid attention to what Frank told me about himself. If you examine his Blog you can see that Frank was looking for answers..looking for people like himself. This made it simple to try and find a commonality with Frank because he was looking for that himself.

Here I again try to give Frank that which he is seeking and let him know that there are others out there that understand he hears voices. I don't at this point get into the fact that 'our' voices consuming us currently are the result of his works that actually exist outside the mind. Think about the glazed look people get when you tell them in real life about Cassie? How do you think someone in Frank's position may react? Too much too soon can have disasterous results. Also I address the fact that many others are here that are part of my group..I begin to explain why he is suddenly getting this mad influx of comments and probably E-mails.

Here I extend to Frank what he and everyone seeks in life..Fellowship.
I let him know that we are a tight group that likes each other and works well together. I try to paint a picture of a group that he might feel he could gain strength from. I drop a few phrases that hopefully resonate with him without beating him over the head with the fact that, we know his thoughts, because we've seen his works that he doesn't know about.
Additionally, I thought about who it was I was speaking to. We know Frank has and reads a bible.(I don't smack him upside the head with the fact a page is missing and I know which one it is...that would Freak him right the hell out.) I use a quote from Proverbs that has played a role in my life for many years and that I know Frank will identify with because of his biblical background. This is attempts to strike another note of commonality between Frank and I. I also let Frank know that I count him as one of the wise and I would like him to join my group of wise men so that we may all become wiser still.

My approach is certainly not the only one..and may not be the right one...others may have other methods that work for them. I have however, as you can tell, put great care and thought about what I said to a possibly fragile mind and that is the best any of us can try to do. I tried the K.I.S.S method.. "Keep it simple stupid" by playing myself and relating my life experiences to Frank's situation. Also, leaving Frank 75 comments might make him feel like he's being stalked. Make your point and let him react if he will and if not..deal with it..Frank doesn't think you're special but maybe ya mom and 'dem still do so write them a note instead.
I hope this long winded post helps someone get a better idea of how to interact with Frank.
