oooooh, you beat my theory!!! This would be fantastic! Then, if Daniel did untie Jonas and failed the test, I would LOVE to see what they do with order-controlled-DB then.

I'm not sure if this has any significance to Jonas getting free or how it was accomplished, but the lamp next to where Jonas was being held is tilted. It stood out to me like a struggle took place, but that doesn't really make sense because it would've made too much noise.

Assuming Jonas somehow escaped by his own power (Daniel lets him out to use the bathroom, he somehow is sneaky about making some space with his wrists so he's not tied tightly, then breaks out? A stretch, but I've seen weirder in stories), I think it would be awesome if he is innocent, and catches the first ride that comes along the road to get away from the "friends" who decided to tie him up and torture him.

And who should happen to pick up that poor, hot hitch hiker?

It would of been possible for him to get out of the zip ties, if he got them situated right on the connector and applied enough pressure, 3 days would be enough to work 'em over good. Or I was also thinking, it didn't stick out to me that the ties were behind like a spoke or whatever on the arm of the chair, it looked like they were just there, so maybe her worked them off, they were tight but not that tight, it would of taken time but he had that.. 3 almost 4 days.

Though getting out with out being seen is another thing all together. He got the car keys, DB seemed to think they were in the back pack, and the other camera. Though most this did seem to be on the same floor as Jonas, so I guess if both Bree and DB were upstairs it is possible. I hope the next video is from Jonas though.

zip ties come in a bag of bundles, what are the odds they ran out and didnt use a substitute like duct tape or something ?

Anyway, I agree that the ropes look more frayed than cut. I know this makes Jonas look guilty but I still don't think he is. He could have taken his wallet and cellphone, right? So he takes the keys as well so they can't leave and the other camera so he can make a video to post. He calls a taxi and it picks him up on the road. He goes to a hotelroom so he can post a video for Daniel and Bree to explain the situation. It makes sense and it's what I'd do in his place. He wants to prove he's innocent but he can't do it tied up. He's afraid. And besides, if he was able to work the ropes over for a few days and get out of them only his wrists were zip tied. It wouldn't be hard for him to stand up and walk over to something sharp to cut the ties. Sure, he'd have a chair on him but he could move.

I don't think Daniel did it and I don't think he did it unknowingly because of some codeword Jonas said. That's just too messed up for my tastes.
