This most recent episode told me some surprising news about the organization for which HRG works, but a lot of it was clarification. It was nice to know how HRG met the Haitian, but it wasn't exactly a revelation. And since we knew that Claude was once affiliated with HRG, his appearance also wasn't a HUGE revelation (though still a big one, since we know that he might have once worked against the heroes). But I was very surprised to learn that Hiro's father is connected, and that HRG was supposed to give Claire up to his superiors. But we still don't know exactly what that organization does. HRG says that he hasn't killed any of the heroes, so my guess is that the organization is either trying to control the heroes' expression of their powers or is trying to suppress those powers (I'm leaning toward the former theory, especially from what HRG's partner said about Matt, and I think about Peter, too, but I can't quite recall). If that's the case, they should chose Peter over Sylar, since they don't have much of a chance of killing Sylar--who also needs (or wants?) to kill the heroes in order to get their powers. Peter just needs to touch them (and he sure does like to touch Wink

... just kidding).

Oh.My.God.
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I have spent the past two days watching every single episode. This is the most awesome hour of TV ever. Period. It freaking blows my mind! Heroes is now on my list of top 5 favorite shows ever. I can't wait for more episodes!!!!!!!!!!!
There are a few things that I find oddly awesome about this show.
This is what they are:

1.Peter Petrelli's hair. I effing love it. I just...love it. So much.
2.DL. I don't know why, but I think he's awesome.
3.The special bond that seems to have formed between Claire and Peter. It's just cool.
4.Matt Parkman. He's so...I don't know.
5.Damn. What's his name. The Indian professor...He's really cool.
6.Hiro cracks me up

Anyway, all of these things, and a few more, I've grown attached to for some reason, and would be very sad if any of them went away.

I hope you guys aren't too talked out about Heroes after 21 pages of this thread Wink

Tim Kring reveals: The upcoming second season will constitute a new volume in the multi-volume series, with new characters and an entirely new storyline. "If you remember, the opening of the pilot pronounced the episode as the beginning of Volume One," Kring said in an interview. "Volume One comes to a conclusion at the end of episode 23, and Volume Two starts with the opening of season two. And Volume Two is a different story." Kring added: "We could have new people and new storylines and new ideas and new threats and new bad guys and new heroes. So I would prepare the audience for that idea, that it's not just a continuing serialized storyline about only these people. It's a little more the 24 model than the Lost model." Kring also confirmed that some of the current heroes just might not survive this season, but added: "Many of your favorites will live to fight again."

NOOOOOOO!!! I don't want new heroes. No set of heroes could ever have leading men as sexy as they are now!!!! And I refuse to love to hate any other hero threatening villain than Sylar!

It said new characters and all new storyline. I think that means that the whole new york getting blown up arc will have a complete conclusion and that we will be meeting some new heroes. Not that every single character we like will be gone next season.

That would just be stupid.
