Of course that is what they are doing... They throw trial balloons, red (pink) herrings, and plot points out like crazy and wait to see what the reactions are before moving the story forward. It's a little (well, more than a little at times) maddening at times but part of the whole "vision" for the interactive nature of the project... Been going on since the first sighting of Crowley on the wall and documented in several creator interviews.
It's your choice how to react to this technique...

I want to kick myself, in db's vid I thought I saw a light, and thought to myself, wouldn't it be funny if Jonas is just behind him in the bushes, but then I thought I was reading far too much into it. I wish I posted it now.

So what if The vid description quote was written by Daniel, and by I'm taking things into my own hands he means, he's teamed up with Jonas behind Bree's back to prove Bree wrong.
He's been on Jonas's side the whole time saying he thinks Bree is crazy. So he hides Jonas in the house and lets him snoop around when Bree's asleep/not looking.
He posts the video ambiguosly so when Bree see's it she thinks Jonas got away, that would also explain why he posted his first and then Jonas's days later and cut the ending off. So it ooks like Jonas did it when he got the time after he got away. |

Maybe Daniel didn't catch him. He was in a closet, so if he was really quiet, maybe Beast didn't find him. He could've been hiding in there the last few days and posted as soon as he could get to the computer without being caught.

I don't think so. The vid descriptions haven't usually jerked us around in that way -- they've been pretty clear about who's posted. I think that this was posted by Jonas and that either they haven't caught him, or he's caught them, or the three of them have come to some kind of standoff.
Anyhoo. That purple thing sure as hell does look like P.Monkey. Wouldn't it be wild if it turns out that the Order gives all their young kids P.Monkeys -- that have microphones in them -- to keep track of what they're saying and doing? (And maybe Bree has hung onto hers longer than most?)

It would make sense if Daniel came upstairs and Jonas had to stop filming then to deal with him (and maybe with Bree). You can only upload footage that you've been able to film.

Anyway, what I don't get is the Is he Out there? video. The description and everything leads us to believe daniel still doesn't know where Jonas is, but he could have easily edited in OMG I JUST CAUGHT JONAS UPSTAIRS SCREAMING SOMETHING ABOUT P.MONKEY KILLING HIS PARENTS

Yeah I think Daniel fake-fell-asleep just because he knew Jonas was out there...but you caught exactly what I did about something that just doesn't jive.
The last video we watched was Daniel simply wondering if Jonas was out there and ect. If he "caught" Jonas the same night, why didn't he post more video saying so?
I guess we are only led to assume that Jonas hid...and wasn't found? Or perhaps Daniel 'let' Jonas go...? Or maybe this is how Jonas uploaded the video...by giving it to Daniel..or convincing Daniel and Bree that he can prove himself.

they dont have jonas in the is he out there vid. i mean yeah there are flashes of light but that can be everything.
if you look at the lgpedia it is filmed by kevin. which means that the 2 of them werent filmed at the same time, otherwise he would have been in the shot too
