...New user here, Maybe he's just sleeping in the car? Did they check the car out? I mean, if i was just tied up but stuck in the middle of no where surrounded by nothing but snow, i'd look for the safest place... A locked car to sleep in.

Perhaps, Jonas never took the keys. The fact that he is back in the house with Bree and Daniel...might mean something more sinister is going on. Maybe they never noticed the keys were missing...perhaps somehow, someone (a watcher or anyone in the order) broke in and took the keys. Maybe this would be a good question to ask Jonas about.

He kept the keys because his house keys are on it. His home and the cabin. Makes it easier to unlock a door to get in without knocking on it and letting people know you are there.

he took the keys to keep bree and daniel in one place, so it would be easier for him to prove Bree wrong.
