Hi Nicole - Thanks for joining us.
I/We appreciate your help. Very Happy

And more evidence. We have:
SO depicts a rose in soil fenced
I'm not much of a poet, but if I'd written that line I'd have definitely put at least:
IT depicts a rose in soil fenced

So why did Cassie put SO? Because otherwise it won't anagram to CODES TO SERAPIS!

I agree. That's why we had such a hard time unscrambling it - because it didn't seem right. I really think you're right about this...and if it is Rose Hills, then I think the anagram I got was correct.

Ok... so... we keep mentioning this "Rose Hill Memorial Park"... So I decided to look it up and see what's there as I've never been (I've never even been to california)

Someone said it's a HUGE place, and they were'nt kidding, juging from the map of the place. BUT I think I found something while searching it:

http://www.rosehills.com/locationsContent/location.aspx

click that link and scroll to the bottom!

at GATE 1..... there's both a flower shop... AND (ready?) A ROSE GARDEN!

that's right... it's a ROSE GARDEN at the GATE!

CODES TO SERAPIS IN SOIL FENCED

= SO CASSIE POSTED IN SECOND LIFE

Maybe?
Maybe - But I don't think so.

But I think we should stick to some rules (or else this is just too hard!).

1. Anagrams of the two halves separately please (the above example mixes between the two halves)
2. The second part is probably more important than the first (I thing the first part will we CASSIE something)
3. Look for proper names, place names and buildings (preferably PUBLIC places, such parks, museums, churches, chapels, etc)

Hope that helps. Very Happy

Edit: BurnsIV and SivartAlappes that holds merit, but I still think there is more to be gained from the anagram of the second half of this verse. Therefore:
4. Try to keep an open mind and not cross-contaminate between theories (that will lead you down the wrong path)

Oh. You're probably right that it will be a proper name. I was just thinking that "posted" might refer to Frank's blog. I saw "second life" as confirmation that Cassie was, er, dead and speaking to Frank through his blog - which was a sort of re-incarnation for her.

Anyway, not arguing. Pretty sure that you're right about the place thing. But just wanted to be clear that I didn't mix up the two different parts. Codes to serapis = so Cassie posted (EDIT: OR Cassie posted)
in soil fenced = in second life
