Does anyone else find it strange that Jonas felt it was fine to go stay at his aunt's house, with Bree and Daniel in tow, when he hadn't seen her since he was 14? If he'd called her, don't you think it's strange he didn't mention that? _________________ You can call me Juli or LLP, whichever suits your fancy.

Well, they were a little desperate at that point and Jonas was hoping there'd be documents there they needed anyway. I don't think it's too strange, really.
Also, since they are familiar, maybe he felt he could talk them out of it if anything awkward developed. Or maybe he just wasn't concerned about it at that point. |

He may be trying to leave his aunt out of it, prevent her from anything the order could potentially do to her. |

Nope... It's only been five years, they're too desperate for any formalities like waiting for a proper invitation since they are on the run, and most importantly, she's family. |

...and she probably had always told him (on the telephone, or letters, email, birthday cards etc...) that he had an open invitation. _________________ Dreams from the Breenaverse

True, Voyboy. Some families are like that (mine for example). I have relatives in CA that I could just show up with no warning and it would be fine. |

I dunno... Do those open invitations include "feel free to break in if we're not home" though?
Me, I think we're just swimming along with the storyline here. It's just that I read your post and couldn't help thinking.
But, hey, it's Sunday morning. I didn't say I think really well on a Sunday...in the morning...when I first get up. Or at all, for that matter... |

i think the bottom line is, jonas is hiding something. maybe he is figuring out all this new stuff about the order for real, but it is just too convenient that he stumbled upon bree's videos on the internet, invited her to live with him, and then found out that his parents were involved in fighting the very same organisation from which she was running. he never even straight up said his aunt is in italy on business, he said he thought...(am i right? i'm not sure). but he could've just as easily made that up so the others would go along with his plan to stay there. not that it isn't a good plan...
there just must be something behind all of this i think.
edited for clarity! |

Poor Z! I would offer to adopt, but thinking about it, I'm not too sure your family doesn't sound like a whole lot more fun... |

My niece broke into my parent's home while they were away (she didn't have a place to stay), and she's never heard the end of it yet (been two years). But my family is weird, so maybe I'm the one who is reading too much into this. _________________ You can call me Juli or LLP, whichever suits your fancy.

I truly think it depends on the family. When I was in high school, all my friends knew where my parents kept the "hidden" house key. It wasn't unusual for my dad to come home for lunch and find my friends at the house, working on papers, eating their lunch in front of the TV. |

If he hadn't seen her since he was 14, how did he know she was on 'vacation' and how did he know when she would be coming back?
Also, it seems rather planned that they would be the ones to pick her up...how did she get to the airport previously? _________________ What ever happened to that girl BA?
