Alistair (Alasdair, Alastair, Alister) is the Scottish version of the name Alexander Very Happy

(as in Aleister Crowley. Whos real name is Edward Alexander Crowley)

I think you resolved the lack of an exact spelling.

Maybe "Alex" and "the Beast" will get along just fine then, since both their names imply a Crowley connection. Good observation Sami. I wonder if this is significant?

I think this is just a coincidence.
You guys read in a little too far on small details.

I'm not sure about that in this case. The Creator's said, as recently as last Tuesday on their new show "Mixed Media" that their mantra is

"Aleister is Important"

Given that, and their statement thatl the allusions to Aleister will eventually make sense, I don't think it's out in left field to examine what Alex's connection to Aleister might be.

Great observations to both of you. That would make sense.

I think sometimes people look too deeply into things, but in this case - not so much. Remember that this is a series written by people, so they will make connections that you don't automatically think about. Good catch with this one... sounds like an interesting development.

That's assuming that she will help, and she's not an agent of the Order.

I tried to think of what Alex could mean too, since the names thus far have been symbolic a lot of times.

I thought of Alexander the Great, but I think you're closer. Very Happy
