OT, this video reminds me of that old Three Dog Night song, "Mama Told Me not to Come". Anyone as well-aged as I am know what I'm talking about?

Hm. Another idea just occurred to me: maybe the relationship between Wine-In-Face Guy and Alex is more like the relationship between Daniel and Bree. Even though they're not involved, I could totally believe that Daniel would have a pic of Bree in his house. Also that he'd be jealous if Bree was hooking up with someone else -- especially a younger guy.
I still believe Alex is with the Order, but if I'm wrong (or even if I'm not), it could be interesting to see how a relationship like B&D's might play out when they get older. Maybe Alex and this guy (David?) are intended to serve as a parallel or counterpoint to Bree and Beast.
And OT: chevyfudd, I love your avvie as well. |

No, I do it too, Joy. But it's not for artistic reasons (unless they have really beautiful art).
If I'm going to be partying, I want to access the surroundings so I feel safe. If I don't feel safe, I leave. It's been years since I partied like this, though.

This is a very interesting, Lass. I never thought about it this way, but this is the kind of thing a good writer would do. Although I think Daniel is over Bree now <crosses fingers>.

lol, it's so sweet that you went to the trouble to find that. Three Dog Night were my favs when I was around 9 (oops, dating myself).
Yeah, well, it is about drugs, but drinking too. The point is, it's a weird party with a messed-up vibe. Right?

Phew! Glad I am not the only one. It has been about 3 years since I have gone to a part like that as well... The three dog night song brought up some memories that I was trying to forget... definitely not from drinking... maybe from LSD though...
So, um... should we go ahead and expect a three day wait before the next video???

Okay, I rewatched the video and noticed a few things I hadn't before.
--When Beth introduces herself, the white-shirted man seems annoyed that she joined the conversation. She kind of just jumps in.
--Daniel calls it a "fashion industry" party, not a "fashion" party.
--Jonas just says "Alex" rather than "Aunt Alex."
--Jonas is really cute when the blonde lady kisses him and he looks at the camera and mouths "OH MY GOD."
--When Jonas says "I think that guy over there is a musician" the camera pans over to him and he grabs some girls shirt and she makes a face like "ew. perv.."
None of these are very important. I just noticed them and thought they were funny and/or strange.

I don't think that one is strange - especially since they're that close in age. Everyone in my family and my girlfriend's family just says their aunt or uncle's name when talking to or about them (and the age differences there range from 34 years to 17). |

I know. My friend calls her parents by their first names. I didn't think it was that weird, but I just thought I'd point it out, because people are questioning if Alex is really Jonas's blood-related aunt.
