bravehost.com is just a company that hosts peoples websites they make

this hsaonline using a hosting service is a pretty cheapass way to try to act like someone

also the MIDI song on the page is a small enough file to upload to keep them from having to spend money on the hosting service

the videos look cheesy, the music on the page is cheesy

and everything about it has been created in the last few days

but hey when there is nothing else to read about its good boredom fodder Smile

Actually, this fits right into the story on the homepage. They had a fire and needed temporary hosting.

[quote="taiya"] mskelly posted on Daniel's youtube account and on the lonelygirl main comments page. Someone else mentioned the Daniel comments I think. [quote]

On lonelygirl's Utube page the following comment was:

mskelly333 | October 04, 2006

see our video about our special group for homeschoolers like bree

visit us at hsaonline(dot)bravehost.com

can it shed some light

we're waiting for you

Is that a question? "can it shed some light"
an anagram? Any thoughts on the meaning to this?

and the home page announcement says:

Attention (10/05): We are not connected with katsushie or vantageous in anyway. Please disregard these attempts to discredit us.

Vantageous is the same advertising company that is marketing the LG15.com page. This sounds like indirect marketing to me (kinda like putting a pepsi can in a movie scene) so we all go out and visit vantageous's website. It's a marketing ploy.

But if that's true, that would make this actually part of the LG15 series, not fanfic because it's being marketed by the same company as LG15. Hmmmm...

"This is not a pipe." (and yet, in a way, it also IS... from a certain point of view)

things are never just what they appear to be. the picture of an apple is a picture of an apple, and not an actual apple.
an alternate/ parallel reality? paradox? it is and is not what we see or think it is? existentialism? nihilism? shroedinger's cat? simultaneous existence and non-existence... like all fiction? what is "real"?
there is always more going on behind the scenes than we are aware. reality exists in layers upon layers of context and subtext and pretext.

now apply all this to Bree's world.

the fabric of reality that is the curtain hiding the wizard is about to be pulled aside...

Sorry guys! I posted this "mskelly" thing in the Daniel portion of this forum. Yes, I am petty....I want the credit. So actually I think I found the "hsa" site first.

Now excuse me while I break my arm patting myself on the back Laughing

I don't really think this mskelly thing is from the creators. I just checked out the youtube site and the hsaonline.bravehost.com site and it all seems too... well.. crap*y. Kind of seems like someone is really bored and doing their own spin-off thing. I think you guys call it 'fanfic' or something. But this is just my opinion from visiting the site.

I think we need to be more critical of things like this.. it doesn't really 'fit'. It doesn't really seem like the creators style to just throw something random out there like that.. there are no ties to it from the actual LG15 videos.. the youtube videos are tagged with 'lonelygirl15'.. someone wanted us to find it and make a big deal out of it. I dunno if I buy into this quite yet...

On the thread Gentle Response in the Fan Videos forum, someone talked about finding a possible clue that was connected with someone called katsushie and vantageous. The comment on the hsaonline page came up soon after that. I think they are telling us that it's unrelated and not a clue.

The hsa themes and ideas seem too connected to the lonely girl stuff to be an independent fan thing to me. But either way I'm enjoying it.

reality vs not reality

I've been thinking along these lines too and posted a little bit about it on the Free Will thread under Plot discussion. This all seems a bit like the book "Sophie's world". It's book on philosphy aimed at teens that is disguised as a story. About half way through she realizes that she probably isn't real.

I think the book might even reference the "it's turtles all the way down" story, but I don't remember.

Here's the english translation..not exact, but helpful.

"This is not a pipe" can translate to
We appreciate your attention of friendship
can be entertainment
engaging your spirit is fun to watch"

That would be a good translation. Not exact, maybe, but the original french version is actually really bad. So bad I thought there could be some anagrams involved gain, but I couldn't find any that would be intelligible.

Bree,
I’m sorry for this frustration in your life. Are you still keeping up with your home studies? I see you are eager for the ceremony. Stay firm in your beliefs. Keep studying. Your family is most important. I am glad that your helper is a great assistant.

She also mentions in one of her videos that their assistants make great helpers.

Did somebody already post this? I didn't read all of the eight pages as I am incredibly lazy.

I don't really care whether it's official or not. If it is, yay! (Although I would think their hosting choice a bit odd, all considered.) If not, someone put a lot of thought into an interesting addition to this whole thing. Which LG15 has encouraged!

I really am wondering when LG15 will unveil whatever the official argish thing they've mentioned working on, though. Maybe after the 12th?
