lol I have no idea. The one we've all seen is still available. heh I just opened it cuz the theory we might be getting another vid. tonight and noticed the post count. I dunno I'm gonna keep an eye on it. In case it is like a part 2 and not the same video being posted twice. But I don't want to start a new thread in case it is a glitch since it as the same name lol. |
I'm not sure if it matters, but the one we can still see has a different URL than the one that's supposedly still loading. Could be just a glitch, though. Maybe they accidentally submitted it for upload twice. |

yea I'm in central. and I dunno I've heard anything from 10 mins to 2 hours. |

Well, the Mojave desert covers a very large area...it starts, on the west end, in Lancaster/Quartz Hill (in northern Los Angeles County) and heads east into Nevada and Utah. It's my home, and I know it pretty well. However, a lot of it looks pretty much the same.
We're assuming that Alex's house was in Santa Monica/ Malibu area...because of the beach and also because of the shot of them picking her up at the airport where they passed a Santa Monica car dealership. Palmdale and Lancaster are about a 90 minute drive north from there...maybe a good 2 hours to get to the wide open they're showing in the video.
At one point Daniel said, "This is the place." Which made me laugh because it's a a possible reference to Utah: http://www.thisistheplace.org/titp_monument.html
However, most likely not...because the Utah desert doesn't look like that. I know that, too....since I went to college in Utah. I've driven the I-15 from Utah to California more times that I can count.
The rest stop they were at looks familiar and I'm trying to place it. But there are a LOT of them out there...although, not so many that have luscious green grass and perfectly manicured trees like that.
I'm working on it......though that doesn't mean we know where they're going know. |

heh helicopters being back, i know there was a debate in the earlier parts of this thread about who's they are. But I thought we decided way back when that they were a sign of the order? |

Bethy you're so great at the location stuff!! Thanks so much!
I hope the creators have something exciting planned for us. I wouldn't feel so let down by the lack of excitement after the build up.
Though I understand with the product placement it would of been strange to have it in the middle of an action packed video so the need for a light hearted one was needed for that, and I think they did a great job on it.
But we did have a nice build up to something, so it still feels like a little bit of a let down, even as great as this video was. |

Well, I think we did the actual build-up ourselves. I've been pushing this Vernal Equinox thing for a month now; people have even commented to me about it on the boards.

Not really. I thought we'd get something bigger not because of the date (that didn't occur to me till I did see your post but I thought about it before). We had the freaky party, 2 videos of that, We've had several parallax related type videos, and last we had the video with Alex being bad and her message (oh and Bree's video that she was on her way there). Added to the two day break in videos. So IMO it was building up to a mini climax. |

I wonder if Bree has seen Alex's video. She said she was going to pack last time we saw her before this. I don't think the message conveyed to them, without seeing the vid, would have the same impact. Alex's creepiness really added to the trepidation.

Yeah, those bizarre parties, as well as the ominious "what will come after me" thing, have to lead to something big. I was expecting more of a climax too, and not because of the equinox.
