I'm glad you are all still working on this, because I was beginning to think I was going a little mad. Perhaps a bit like Frank? Embarassed

Some things that I have been working on here, for what they are worth.

We know the other little square picture in the red and black poem picture hasn't been properly explained. It's either aligned with the cup in the picture, or the words of the text - the "black blob" covers the N of NOT - almost like it is cut out, leaving just OT.

1. OT is apparently the Mongolian goddess of marriage and "queen of fire". Although Mongolian mythology hasn't come up in the story so far, fire was one of the symbols that Bree held up on her Enochian flash cards.

2. The bottom half of the image looks like it could be depicting a ring around the ring finger of the hand on the chalice. Another sign that this is a picture of a marriage ceremony and wedding chalice?

3. The two lines "The picture has not yet commenced, So depicts a rose in soil fenced." are two if the wackiest lines of poetry that I've ever seen. They just don't fit here. We already know that, for whatever reason, Cassie doesn't like to hide her clues in open view. We already know that the very last line is SERAPIS CODES, HI NOVICE, WAIT contains the hidden double anagram of CASSIE PROSED A VOICE WITHIN. Considering the location of these lines of verse above and below the little picture, we should look very closely at them. I don't think they should be taken literally, just like HI NOVICE WAIT wasn't - We obviously weren't meant to WAIT but needed to go on and find Franks blog page.

3a. Why use "SO depicts" and not "IT depicts", when IT would scan better? Notice that the second line is another prompt from Cassie that we have an anagram.
SO DEPICTS A ROSE = CODES IN SERAPIS
SO DEPICTS A ROSE IN = CODES INTO SERAPIS
However we already tried anagramming the remainder of the line and didn't get far. But Cassie is trying to direct us at another double anagram here, I am sure of it. We should examine every line surrounding the little picture very carefully.

3b. Why use "THE picture" and not "THIS picture", and also quite how does a picture commence? Notice that the first half of this line:
THE PICTURE HAS = HER CUP IS AT THE (or THE CUP IS AT HER)
That has just got to be significant, right???

3c. So perhaps we should look at anagrams of NOT YET COMMENCED or perhaps OT YET COMMENCED as the N appears to have been cut out? However I'm afraid I didn't get far with that.

3d. It appears that the rest of the little picture joins the NOT with ROSE from the next line. At this point I got a little desperate and decided that perhaps ROSE OT YET COMMENCED was worth a shot. From that I got:
HER CUP IS AT THE | MOOTED SECT CEREMONY
HER CUP IS AT THE | MODOC CEMETERY STONE

Unfortunately Modoc County doesn't seem right, as I was expecting LA based clues? Disappointing, especially considering this picture. There's also a Solomon Modoc Wheeler buried at Rose Hills. Shame Modoc it his middle name and not surname.

One thing that I think will hinder us here is that, if we are looking for a drop site, then it's going to be a proper name, and anagram programs aren't going to show anything up for most proper names.

Edit: Oh, and sorry for the long post but hopefully something of my rambling will be of use to someone?

One final request, if anyone is thinking of going and looking for clues at the above locations, please be respectful of others loved ones final resting places - If there are clues (and I strongly suspect there's nothing there) they will be obvious and in plain sight. You won't need to disturb anything.

awesome find. There is no modoc surname but I did find a DOROTHY ODESSA COMO. Which would be D. Como. Not sure if this has significance. Might just be a stretch on a stretch. Can't seem to come up with any other viable combinations tho.

EDIT
Using your anagram you could say "the cup is at her cemetary stone, D. Como. Sounds somewhat promising assuming you fiqured out the meaning of the little picture.

Wow - glad you finished that other project, pcbbc. Your analysis is impecable - I have always been disturbed by those two lines - a wealth of intersting translations that don't quite make sense. Although using the picture to block out letters would be awfully clever - I think Cassie would have used some other image - maybe a squiggley red box - if it was ment to chop out the letter. That little picture also lines up exactly with the stem of the Chalice - directly under the hand. Could it be a blurry picture of the stem of another chalice maybe? (not that this would lead us anywhere)

I'm so freakin' sick of working on this "where" poem and not getting anywhere with it. It's been a couple days now, and still no more clues (unless there's something in Frank's blog that we're missing). On the plus side, the utter lack of activity has given me time to do other things... like read and play video games! Smile

OK I've got one - although with all the pages in trhis thread maybe it's been said before:

so depicts a rose | in soil fenced

secret oasis pod | lies confined

secret oasis - This would be the pool from drop 1 where Frank likes to fish
pod lies confined - package is buried

Cassie is always going on about "above you"

Maybe the previous line can be anagramed to a more exact location (I need to go to bed - or I'd help) Maybe above is just the parking lot or there abouts.

Maybe the little picture is just marking the 2 lines that describe where the big picture is.

OK maybe here's the rest:

The picture has not | yet commenced

North path, site cue: | my code cement

cue means clue

Follow the north path and look for "Cassie's code" in cement

I'm not sure what cassie's code is but there is not likely to be lots of cement on the path anyways.

Also "lies confined" may not mean buried - but confined in whatever is cement.

This would be the location of Frank's Painting I would think -- the cup would be another thing - but maybe not.

This was my attempt at looking into Rose Hills and East Fork to find a possible clue. Nothing. Here's a video of my adventures though.

by moppet she means bree, and by the moppet's only friend she means herself.

Isn't the doe eyed moppet's only friend Daniel? Bree does say in her "difficult decision" video that she's alienated her only friend.

And now, given we know the painting that is missing is actually a picture of a clown, how about this for a solution to WHERE:

The picture has | not yet commenced
Her cup is at the | ...............

So depicts a | rose in soil fenced
................. | fool-in-residence's

As the painting came from Franks, the the cup is either there, or where Frank last drank? We know he likes his JD? Perhaps in the gardens of his hotel?

Umm, is anyone else thinking Franks motel might turn out to be a Residence Inn?
About 7 miles from Azusa you have Residence Inn 321 E Huntington Dr, Arcadia
Anyone want to check out the grounds?
