yeah a screencap would be great cause I didn't see it either.
and did anyone else hear the danielbeasts too. or am i losing my mind?

Kellylyn, go to where he is first grabbed. He clearly yells a muffled "Bree". It's what some have been referring to as a grunt, but he is yelling "bree".

I'm still sticking with my theory that Bree recognized the person standing behind her, but I also found this interesting:
This image may support some people's theory that Daniel was unharmed and / or responsible. While most people were talking about the ID sign, I found the "Stand Clear" message much more interesting and relevant.
Perhaps (And I could easily be digging too deeply, but this entire thread seems to be all about pure speculation) this was to signify that Daniel was 'standing clear' of the attacks as they occurred.
His face also looks as if he's in a trance, and is completely withdrawn. This eerie calmness reminds me of the way in which the video ends, with the car slowly driving off, the driver seemingly in perfect control of the situation.
*Shrugs* I don't want to believe Daniel is responsible, and do stick by my earlier theory, but I did find this screen capture I took particularly telling. |

Personally, I don't believe they were captured all at the same time....it's a good theory, but I don't totally buy into it. I think they just used the same audio over and over post production. If they didn't, they would have different sounding audio for each capture and I don't think that's what they were going for? Make sense?
Also, why would bree walk around a dark corner? I think she was looking for Daniel. Not that she saw him...maybe she just sensed something was wrong you know? And then, when we see Jonas, he is waiting.....and waiting....in the car, and finally decides to get out when they haven't made it back yet.

Hey, Juli, I think the screencap people are talking about is this one, at 1:10:02:
When I first posted it, I thought it was Bree, but when I went back and reviewed it, I actually discovered it is Jonas in his car waiting for Bree and Daniel.
What I do find interesting about this shot, however is some things in the background I don't understand. There is a very clear view in the arm of a man wearing a blue dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Also, looks like the person spotted earlier in the white shirt and th hoodie may be leaning over and talking to him. - possibly a gas station attendant? Do they have those in Nevada? Anyway, I find it an interesting image that gives us much to speculate on.

Well, I don't have time for screencaps right away, will have to do them on lunch (in 2 hours).
But where it is in the vid is right after Bree is attacked, it jumps to a view of Jonas siiting in the SUV, then back to an image of (what I assume is) Bree being sat/laid into a vehicle, and then an image of Jonas standing outside the SUV....
Sorry to be vague, didn't want to leave anyone hanging about what I was talking about.. Will clarify later.

Why would they have to have any audio of Bree at all, then, overlapping the attacks, much less saying a name?

OK, maybe I'm missing something...I don't hear Daniel call out for Bree at all - nor do I actually see him being grabbed.
At what time do these things happen? I've watched the video about 12 times, and all I see is a shot of Daniel as he walks to the car -- no hands grabbing him or choroforming him at all. What am I missing? |

Yeah, I thought this was probably what subterfuge was referring to, Luminous.
It is also very interesting to really get a clear picture of how much Jonas and Bree resemble each other.

You know, that very well could be Daniel.
ETA: After looking at the vid again, I am 99.9% positive it's Jonas. I just have to comment again on how eerily alike he and Bree are in facial structure, coloring, etc.

I have a slowmotion clip I made of the capture, that shows pretty clearly its Jonas, not bree. Ill try to get it posted an linked soon - still have to upload it.
Silvermoon - it also, in my mind at least, definitely shows Daniel being grabbed.
and longlostposter - yes, I agree. There is a strong resemblance between Bree and Jonas. I was surprised myself. I didn't think there was a resemblance until I made the mistake myself with this clip, thinking I was looking at Bree, when I was really looking at Jonas.

The attack on Daniel starts at 1:02, and that is also when he yells "Bree".
There are frame-by-frame screencaps posted by heyiknowyous of Daniel being attacked in this thread. I think they start on page 5.
