Not so very long ago, this theory - or one very much like it was proporsed. The idea led to much speculation and outright fantasy. Ultimately, after quite a bit of intense effort and sleuthing unseen before or since the truth was discovered.

All three are related and the relationship includes some very unusual traits.

Twins separated at birth, and then brought back together later on usually have an extreme attraction for each other, right, both spiritual and physical?

Also, Bree and Jonas' facial structures are so much alike, they actually got mistaken for one another in one of the darker screencaps posted in the vids section for "Subjects Apprehended".

This theory rocks. I love modern-day retellings of old classics.

Now if we could just get a little "Antigone" in there as well.

I know the siblings theory is popular and I admit it is possible, but I will be SO disappointed if that's the case. It just seems so tired.

What if they are siblings, only they are 6 years apart (Jonas looks way older than 19) didn't Jonas's parents dissapper when he was six? Could they have fudge the age on that one?

Weren't the siblings Arthur and Morgan? Morgan's mother married Uther, no?

Arthur and Morgan were half-siblings. In classical legend as well as in Mists of Avalon, Uther deceives Morgan's mother into believing he is her husband, while her husband is dying on the battlefield. Only in Mists of Avalon does she marry Uther afterward. And in Mists of Avalon, morgan and arthur are tricked into sleeping with each other as part of a spring ritual.

And now back on topic. I thought the theory of them being siblings was a very good one when it was first being discussed. Twins hadn't crossed my mind until now. And it is possible. If not, Jonas would have been old enough to remember a pregnant mother, and he hasn't indicated any such recollection so far.

Edit: I before E....

Wasn't "Antigone" a major tragedy? I hope they don't go that way. We don't need another Antigone and Haemon incident.

Who'd be Creon, I wonder?

From what I've read and heard, yes.

If Bree and Jonas are siblings. I don't think that "jonas' parents" are really his parents. something else set up by the order. Why would they leave thier son (unless it's a lie they are still alive)

but that brings up the qeustion. Why isn't jonas looking for them?

Have they been brain washed?

who knows ...guess we'll just have to wait and see

and if bree is part of some sacred blood line and that's why she was brought up that way. Why was jonas brought up so differently? just b/c he's a boy and she's a girl?

hmmmmm

Cool, you knew what it was. I love Antigone, and you know that would be very workable here, as far as Bree and Jonas, if indeed they are brother and sister. But, yeah, it would mean they died, so it would kinda be a downer...lol.

Lurker, I love old tragedies.

Why? I means they each have either the same mother, or the same father in common, but not both.

Is it even a real term? I was just trying to avoid the redundancy of saying "half-borther and half-sister."

People like to think for themselves sometimes, not just read other people's thoughts and assume they must be right. Everything in that thread, as well as here, are only theories, so it's not exactly going to hurt for another thread to rehash the same thing, as long as there are enough willing participants to do so.

Not exactly looking for a short cut, is it? It's the natural turn of things, for people to think for themselves, not just assume someone else is right.
