Hi! Lurker since the beginning of all this, but finally decided to join in.
Anyway, a google image search for Coral Eugene Watts didn't turn up the pic from the vid, but I suppose that doesn't completely rule him out. I personally don't think they look much alike. The guy from the vid actually looks a bit more like Jesse L. Martin to me (http://imdb.com/name/nm0552509/) which is completely ridiculous, but I thought I'd toss it out there anyway. I'm still looking... |

Isn't the picture of Cardinal Medina the same one we saw in the photo clue this week? The one we interpreted as the evil priest? I can't get to the links to the photos here at work due to a firewall. 
EDIT: Medina was one one who announced the election of Benedict XVI. Dunno if this info helps or not. |

I think we're both hallucinating.  I posted earlier that it looked like him to me too. He's the first person that popped into my head when I saw the cap, and I don't even watch the original L&O. Doesn't make much since that it would be him though... |

Well, you are right. I'm searching through the google images now. I'm also trying some image recognition program. Don't know how well that will work, but I'm getting nowhere just putting in random key words. |
