<sliding in> I wanted to pop into this side of things to say HI! before my Internet connection goes south again.
Meant to wander this-a-way last night...and the little-to-no connection I've had for days went from there to none at all. It's back, for the moment... So...
HI! to everyone here!
Gonna wander 'round the forums a bit more before someone else drops rocks on my Internet cable, and the connection disappears again... <huge sigh>

Wow, Jess, that sounds like a really interesting source of information. Is it on line?
And come to think of it, in the old Aretha Franklin song "Respect," she says she wants the guy to "give me my propers when you get home." That song's from at least the 1960s, so the original expression must have been pretty old. |

I totally forgot about that song! That is a much older expression than I thought!! I just remember it from the early 90's but that's probably because I'm just of that age category lol
