What caused them to escape? Did someone help them? How did they get out to the desert? So far, both Daniel and Bree have said they don't remember what happened... I wonder if Jonas does and he was the one who got them to escape?

The fact that they keep mentioning that they have no idea what happened in those three days makes me think that something definitely DID happen, and they either have triggers or they went through the ceremony or something. I can't be alone in thinking this....... right?

Aleister Crowley wrote the Hymn To Pan:

I'm looking for the lyrics now.

Wikipedia said the hymn of Aten is remarkably similar to Psalms 104...so I looked that up too.

Too funny, that is what I found at wikpedia

Seemed worth a mention.

So, after read things on Faust (WHICH I LOOOOVE!!!!) I saw that the 'Hymn of One' was this, a sort of philosophy almost,"Jungfrau, Mutter, Königin, Göttin, bleibe gnädig." This translates into, "Virgin, mother, queen, goddess, remains benevolent."

That basically supports all the feminine shit that her religeon's about.

I hope this isn't too off topic, but there are theories that Ahkenaten and Moses were the same person. Also... that they were a woman. Shocked

That book I posted about, I recommend looking at the table of contents, btw. Here's a url to the amazon page: http://tinyurl.com/2y3xkq

If you use Good search, there are plenty of things that come up. You all should be using it anyway. Everytime you use it, a dime gets donated to the charity of your choice.

I think it was Michiev that told me that.

Anyway, whoever it was, thanks.

Yeah from some personal research (and the research of others), I have noticed that many religions beliefs have people/events that are uncanny in their similarities. Very Cool

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A troparion (Greek: Τροπάριον , plural: τροπάρια/troparia; Church Slavonic: тропа́рь/tropar, ) in Byzantine music and in the religious music of Eastern Orthodoxy is a short hymn of one stanza, or one of a series of stanzas (this may carry the further connotation of a hymn interpolated between psalm verses).

In casual, unqualified use, troparion usually refers to the apolytikion (Greek: απολυτίκιον), or dismissal hymn, sung near the end of vespers which establishes an overall theme for the liturgical day. It is repeated at the beginning of matins, at several other services of the hours, and at the Divine Liturgy following the Little Entrance.

A troparion to the Mother of God (Theotokos) is called a theotokion (Greek: Θεοτοκιον; plural θεοτοκια/theotokia).

[edit] History

A famous example, whose existence is attested as early as the 4th century, is the Vespers hymn, Phos Hilaron, "Gladsome Light"; another, O Monogenes Yios, "Only Begotten Son," ascribed to Justinian I (527-565), figures in the introductory portion of the Divine Liturgy. Perhaps the earliest set of troparia of known authorship are those of the monk Auxentios (first half of the 5th century), attested in his biography but not preserved in any later Byzantine order of service.

[edit] Famous troparia

Paschal troparion, Tone V:

Christ is risen from the dead,
trampling down death by death,
and upon those in the tombs bestowing life.

Troparion of the Holy Cross, Tone I:

O Lord, save thy people,
and bless thine inheritance!
Grant victory to the Orthodox Christians*
over their adversaries,
and by virtue of thy cross,
preserve thy habitation.

*In monarchies where Eastern Orthodoxy is the state religion, this troparion is often used as a national anthem with the name of the ruler occurring here.

"Axion estin", a theotokion

It is truly meet to bless thee, O Theotokos,
ever blessed, and most pure, and the Mother of our God:
more honorable than the cherubim, and more glorious beyond compare than the seraphim.
Without corruption thou gavest birth to God, the Word.
True Theotokos, we magnify thee.

Here is the link:

Sorry if someone posted this already.

A hymn of one is a one stanza hymn (usually) that is sung at the end of a service; vespers.

It seems to be Lutheran in origin.

I liked the Meshiness-feel the script had in this one.

I was disappointed by Bree's description of her getting along so well with her dad but not her mom because it flew totally in the face of the sneaking-out-with-Daniel era episodes, in which her dad was extremely strict and Bree would go to her mom who understood a little bit better to try and prevail upon him. Bree's dad was the bad guy back then, and her mom the voice of semi-reason who sometimes was able to help things out a bit for Bree. Then again, this is because there was no long term plan or character development. When those earlier episodes were written there was no plan for Bree's Mom to turn out to be the evil leader of the Order or whatever and Bree's dad to get shot in protest and all...
