I mean, please. It's basically Jonas's plot twist, only that she really had contact with the Order, as Gemma did in her plot twist.
...how much do you want to bet this is what would have happened with Gemma, if Jackie didn't have to quit?

Plot twists - yes.
The same, over and over again - no.
I mean, look at it:
Bree's parents - seem nice, turn out evil, until...
...Bree's dad flees and gets shot for Bree.
Gemma - seems nice, turns out evil, until...
...her actress had to leave and they killed her off.
Jonas - seems nice, turns out evil, until...
...we learn Bree thinks "2" and "3" is the same, and different symbols actually mean different things.
Alex - seems nice, turns out evil, until...
...she hugs it out with Jonas on the beach, revealing she was forced to do it.

Hell, I could even do:
Daniel - seems nice, turns evil, until...
..."Tachyon" flashes on the screen and hollywood-timing allows them to escape.

In fact, given that Bree initially liked and even verbally defended her, this is possible as well:
Lucy - seems nice, turns out evil, until...
...The Creators need a new plot twist.

I mean, seriously - looking at it closely, the only (non-ARG) character who has not been through this "omfg [s]he's evil" plot twist, is Bree.
And that's only if you're nice. 'cause telling Daniel to f*ck off and hanging out with Lucy, preparing the ceremony instead, might just count.

Please, Creators - think of a new plot twist!

I'm so disappointed. If the trio was going to talk to her and just believe every word she said why did they follow her all the way down to freakin' Mexico? Couldn't they have done the exact same thing at her house? At the first hotel she stopped in? I'm all for more Jonas backstory, but this was lame.

The characters have never behaved very rationally. They go with impulse, so all this lately has been completely in character.

As for the cross...who knows? Maybe it wasn't going to be important, but now it is going to be thanks to HisGirl...I've always wondered how much they take from the forums.
