Unfortunately, there are just as many to support the fact that they are not!
I hope this issue will get addressed one way or another by the Creators soon! I'm more interested in finding out this fact that I am about the ceremony these days! |
Really, wow! the only reason I got into the series is to figure out what the ceremony was for and is. the brother sister thing only matters if they become totally romantically involved in which case this will have turned into a soap instead of a mystery. But what the people want the people get I guess... |

I want to know what the ceremony entails, but most of all...what is supposed to be accomplished by it. _________________ You can call me Juli or LLP, whichever suits your fancy.

I'm not saying that I'm not interested in the ceremony...but dang, we've been waiting so long to find out what it is, I'm begining to feel like we won't ever find out the truth!
We know that Bree is never going to do the ceremony with her whole heart. The Order might try to force her to "choose" to do it, by brainwashing her, or threatening her boys, but she's not truly going to want to do it.
And I think the idea behind the ceremony has probably changed many times since the begining of the story. "It's a secret religion! It's a secret society! It's a religion inside a secret society! It's a fake religion inside a secret society! It's a secret fake society inside a secret fake religion inside a scret fake society!"
But the nuances between the characters is what keeps me coming back. I seriously do not want any romantic involvement between the Wonder Triplets. It would be too cliche, too Laguna Beach. But a touching relationship between a pair of siblings who meets through a twisted string of strange happenings? That could be a great twist. The idea that the Creators might just pull something like that off (despite the naysayers who say it is too "Star Wars") keeps me coming back for more. |

I hope they're NOT related. Ish. That would ruin my Jonas is in love with Bree theory and that is one theory, my heart cannot part with. _________________ *mwah* Angie!

There is still the possibility that Jonas has known all along that Bree is his sister, but has been keeping it from her for fear of her safety or not wanting it reveal he is until he is sure he can handle it, or because he fears she may not trust him afterwards. _________________ You can call me Juli or LLP, whichever suits your fancy.

I don't understand how they could be siblings. Going back to the first post on this thread, if Jonas' parents went AWOL 6 years ago, how can that possibly support the idea that Bree shares parents with him? She would have to be a child to make that possible. Even at, what, 8 or 9, she would still remember something like that. And Jonas definitely would remember if he had a sister. _________________ Plaque is a figment of the liberal media and the dental industry to scare you into buying useless appliances and pastes. They could be brother and sister without having met before.

I suppose the way this theory works is that the Order saw Jonas's parents have Bree and said "Hey, nice baby. Give it to me."
But then, wouldn't Jonas at least remember that his mom was pregnant?
Don't bother explaining this to me, I know it's been hashed out a million times, I just haven't bothered to read it all because I don't think it's going to happen. |

Ok, If Bree is about two years younger than Jonas, she could have been born and taken away without Jonas remembering. _________________ "Have you uff da'd today?" - Broken Kid |

But she's not two years younger. He's old enough to drink, right? Or am I totally confused on more than one aspect? She's about five or six years younger than he is. _________________ Plaque is a figment of the liberal media and the dental industry to scare you into buying useless appliances and pastes. She's not that much younger than he is.

Wasn't it established already that Jonas was 19 when he started on the series? By then Bree was 17, so he would be 2 years older than her.
Just because he's drinking doesn't mean he's of drinking age. Look at Daniel, lol!
And in Mexico, the drinking age is lower than the US. |
