She is not the new girl that much is clear by the "immerse yourself" video but who is she or more to the point what is her purpose? She is supposed to save someone and she is watching Bree's videos. She could be studying Bree to save her or to learn how to gain exposure for herself and the person she is supposed to save. A new girl could mean a replacement crossover ARG since TACH, OP, and Brother are gone. Whether maddisonatkins is canon or fanfic I was just getting annoyed at people saying she was the new girl because her mission is to find someone, she is not a beloved possession of The Order like Bree.

How can you be so sure they are just fanfic?

I'm not arguing the fact, I'm just wondering what you have to back that up.

I almost hope that they are, just so we know the story line is actually going somewhere, lol!

I'm thinking Maddison is fanfic. In "Immerse Myself," when she was watching the LG15 videos, she was watching them on YouTube. Wouldn't the Creators have wanted to have her watch them on LG15.com, or at least on Revver?

1. They are filmed in Texas (LG15 is filmed in LA, the Vegas and Mexico location shoots are an aberration)
2. They are over 5 min. in length (LG15 videos are rarely over three)
3. Madison has a last name (LG15 characters never do)
4. The story is a little weak even for LG15 (carrier pigeons???)

She is obviously a fan of LG15, Nikki B., and OpAphid, and has taken cues from all three, editing techniques , the reporter personage, and Morse code, respectively.

P.S. You can't just tell a carrier pigeon where to go like addressing a package for UPS, the pigeon has to be "homed", hence the alternative name for them homing pigeons.

Maddison Atkins is presently considered to be fan fiction. Nobody knows for sure except The Creators, and my guess is they aren't saying one way or the other, yet.

first off, i had the theory that maddison could maybe have been tachyon... but then when i saw 'immerse myself', i thought, "wait, tachy had to be smarter than this..."

right now, i think maybe this is a spinoff. when mr. zipp says she needs to find new friends, it could be the transition of it. and maybe something'll happen with bree, leaving maddison with jonas and daniel.

i noticed this was brought to the viewers' attention for a few seconds in 'immerse myself'. could that possibly be the lemniscate symbol that was also on the EPOGEN box???

There is a fundamental problem with this story, the homing pigeon appearing on Madisons door step.

Homing pigeons only return home.

The way homing pigeons are used is that they are taken from location {A} (its' home) to location {B} where the message is to be sent from, then released, it then returns to location {A}(it's home) where the message is received.

Obviously Madison's door step was not the pigeons home!
