I just hope that Bree will be a better friend to him. Daniel would probably listen to her better, but Daniel might not be able to open up to her as well as he does to Jonas, for obvious reasons.

It's such a catch-22.

Wow, this was a good video. Daniel's been due for a moment like this for a while, I think. It's good to see it finally come out a little.

I'm not surprised that Jonas had nothing to say once DB really started getting into it. What could he say? It was all pretty much the truth. Maybe it had a pessimistic slant, but it was true.

Things really do suck for Daniel, and he's got pretty much no reason to be optimistic, nor does he really have a reason to feel like it will make a difference one way or the other if he just lets himself be drunk. He knows Jonas is the one taking care of them financially and that Bree hasn't in any obvious way needed Daniel for a while. His last big role was having to get rescued.

He probably feels like luggage.

He doesn't even have any involvement in all this beyond it being something his friends are at the center of, yet he's actually taken some of the harder hits. I'm not saying it's good for him, what's he doing, but I can totally understand why he feels like all that. It's going to take some obvious example of purpose in order to get him out of this slump.

He needs to feel needed. I think he had that again when Alex came back into the picture as a good guy, but now that he doesn't know where she stands (and probably thinks the worst), he feels like he's got no reason to even try. Poor guy. It sucks to see him in such bad shape.

This was a great performance by Yousef. He really felt genuine.

The swinging lamp was a great touch, by the way.

DB needs to shit or get off the pot.

By which I mean that I'm of the opinion that he just needs to cut the drinking, come out all guns blazing, and force Bree to make a decision. She's been toying with these guys for too long now. I'm sure DB would win if he threw down the gauntlet and said "Him or me."

All...guns...all guns blazing!

Oh drinking is so painful. Not so much for the drinker but for those around.......

I wonder why Bree hasn't said anything about it, Jonas cares and that's obvious but why hasn't Bree spoken up. Seeing Daniel like this can't be easy so why not say something, really they are in a bunker in the middle of nowhere and he is slaughtering his liver. He needs to know she still cares for him and that he's special to her(even if it's not romantically that he is special and matters to her).

Bree stop being dumb and let Daniel know you care
Daniel stop trying to find your answers in the bottom of a bottle: They aren't there
Jonas, I'm glad you care but try to find a better time to tell Daniel his drinking is no good.

Great acting in this vid! Yousef is very believable.

If they are in a bunker in the middle of nowhere and Jonas' vehicle is the only one around, Jonas needs to just dump the booze down the drain and keep the car keys in his pocket so Beastie can't go buy any more.

I can only pray that when Daniel sobers up and sees the gigantic ass that he has made of himself he will smarten up and do something proactive (i.e. stop DRINKING!) Jonas had the right idea: sometimes seeing yourself in a crappy state is all you need to change your view on things. I'm so worried... but there is hope. There has to be. Confused

Ugh, well can I say that I smell a week or two's worth of videos being a recovery for Daniel? I think this could get boring fast. Seeing him drunk with a sombrero on was hilarious, but this is just gonna be annoying. I know, they've been leading up to this for a while with Daniel. Im just glad we can get it over with (like ripping a band-aid off XD)

Well Bree probobly hasn't said anything to Daniel because she's been busy surfing the net trying to find this new girl. She probobly doesnt even notice that DB's been passed out all day. Jonas is basically the observer here. We need a Bree video. The last one wasn't satisfying enough, it was basically "I need to find the new girl!" for three minutes...

Anyone thinking McPhee should come back for DB?

As this video made me very sad I must say tha I am impressed with how our Yousef's actiing gets better and better with each video he makes. I love that he was not over the top in this and came across as very real (as in"not fake" Wink

)

So Daniel....yes he needs to have a purpose. I think that Bree needs to come out and tell him just how much she loves him. I dont mean romantically.

It would be nice to see an episode where Bree really lets go of holding in any and all feelings and expresses how much he means to her. And how seeing him begin a path of drinking and self distruction is breaking her heart.

Daniel is the only one she trusts 100%
