Yeah, the last 5 minutes were probably my favourite so far this season. Just absolutely mind blowing.

What, like purgatory? The writers have said time and time again that it's not. It better not be! I'd like to think it's like, some far reaching government conspiracy or something, y'know? Or Ben and the Others set up a fake crash site so everyone thinks they're dead?

I'm thinking you are right and that The Others somehow made a fake crash site, so that nobody would be searching for them and find the Island.

I read on a website that the one language she spoke (she spoke like, 3) was PORTUGEUSE--just like those people who were in Antarctica and saw on a computer when the hatch blew, remember? And then they called Desmond's lady, Penny? Well I guess even though Patchy (Mikhail) said that she had said, "Thank You," or something silly like that, she actually said, "I'm not alone". So maybe she's a party sent by Penny!

Yeah, because didn't Ben (or Desmond? Or Kelvin?) say something about the electrical currents or something make it so people cant sail around the island? Or sail away, or something? I'd like to see how Penny's girl even got that close to the island in the first place.

Apparently Charles Widmore, Penny's dad, financed the Hanso Foundation. I'm trying to find a link to confirm that. It was in the Lost Expeience but I don't know if it was on the show or not.

Maybe he had an, erm, I dunno what you call 'em--but like a capsule. You know, like those fake blood capsules?

Maybe the electroblast just screwed him up really badly but didn't instantly kill him. And in that space of time of him hovering near death, the island swooped in and accelerated his healing?

I saw him on the previews for this next episode--along with his tied up daddy.

Yeah, I don't trust the Jack either. Or Juliet (who is a ninja). They're setting up for a big Losties vs. Others finale, and I'm hoping Jack will run off to the Others side!
