Yeah, and it's a bit chilling. (I'm a slightly ashamed to admit it but I checked that my doors were locked after I watched that video.  Freaked me out.) Either:
1) We're being given the warning to not mess with them, which means that we'll probably be given a chance to mess with them. Otherwise, why warn us?
2) We're being given the warning in the hopes that that'll scare our socks off, that we don't want to mess with them, and that'll be it.
Personally I hope it's 1, but at the same time... I'm still freaked out. |

When it comes to building suspense, this sucked. I would have liked to know that they were walking into danger before the guy popped out of nowhere and killed them. It's comparable to knowing in the beginning of a movie that the main character is going to die, otherwise the whole film will be majorly disappointing, or at least knowing that danger lurks before the character finds out. Not just "we're on the run, my girlfriend broke up with me, we seem to have chemistry, la la la, AAAH GUN *dead*"
I just found this very, very disappointing and a bit nauseous. As a non-ARG player this makes me not want to follow any more stories than the main BDJ one...

I was about to log off then I rewatched Immerse Yourself...
1:11 "The powers that be will soon track down this transmission and eliminate both the sender, and the recipient."
1:22 "There are actions you can take to ensure a certain level of safety."
1:31 "The organization I mentioned before could not afford to interfere with an individual who experiences a certain level of exposure. Simply put, as an unknown you are easy prey."
2:20 "Hopefully you can garner the attention necessary for them to see that you can not be harmed and that you are indeed not a threat, but rather an instrument within a larger context.
Did the Order decide she didn't get enough exposure and it was safe to eliminate her?

didnt they say that if she got enough people on her side she would be safe?
i thought we had a lot

That's what I thought too! The Maddison Atkins forum was one of the most active and there were people that were able to pick up drops in each city that Mr. Zipp left them... I didn't think she'd be killed straight away. Heck, TAAG have been able to avoid being shot point blank, so why would the Order respond so differnently to Maddy? I know they need Bree for the ceremony, but they could kill Daniel or Jonas if they really wanted to. Of course that would probably make Bree hate the Order even more and not consider ever doing the ceremony for them....

I think the Order underestimated the connection we had with Maddy, and how dedicated we were to helping her... but the question is, if Mr. Zipp is gone (assuming that the sender was eliminated along with the recipient), then who could we work with? |

I guess Mr Zipp was counting on us to continue to solve the puzzles and dig to find out what this is all about. It definately appears that he knew there was a chance both he and Maddy (and Adam) would be killed, but maybe he hoped if Maddy made a lot of friends we would continue to try to figure everything out. But who is going to be brave enough? I'm freaked out.
And very sad.
