Bree was never a normal teen and the boys are a little older...I see what you are saying...but maybe my age is what makes me see these silly antics and such which is out of Series Character (does that make sense?) as a bit more Degrassi than what it has been up until now. Which is a good reason in my eyes to ask the simple question for the Creators to answer if they are making this so that younger viewers identify and enjoy it more, now. |
I agree with you though. I'm not a teen myself. And whenever others are acting more juvenile, it seems the trio follows suit. _________________

good topic here. i don't know how intentional the shift has been, and it could be just this story arc. it wasn't to long ago that jonas was tied up by bree, and all three were kidnapped and drugged. but i think moving from bree being chased by the order to aiding other ceremony girls is part of the shift you sense. _________________ Can't repeat the past? Now Sarah is clear on expressing her focus of boys and sexual innuendo. This just hit me as realistic. I appreciated it.
But I hope the story doesn't get, as you say, "bubble gum". |
I couldn't agree more about Sarah. Until now the "teens" have been very un-teen-like.
As for bubble gum, only Jules can bring that on, in my opinion. And I suspect she will I rather like Taylor. And I love the vibe with the five of them. _________________ It takes a thousand voices to tell a single story.
