Well all I can say is Sarah "Does know what boys like. Oh and apparently she has a talented tounge.
There has to be some significance to dear old dad leaving, aside from Sarah's personality, because it's also the reason Taylors mom wouldnt let them go out with Jonas and Daniel, and also seems to be the root for much of the strictness in the house. |

lovely video.

i save all speculation of how their dad is bree's real dad, how bree is their unknown half-sister, how taylor is jonas' sister, etc., for later. _________________ Can't repeat the past? Why of course you can! |

Good eye there, Rob. I kept having a nagging feeling that the dad being out of the picture wasn't something I'd expected, but I couldn't place why. The rest of that entry makes it sound even more like the dad was living with them:
Sarah wrote: | He suggested they go to the nursery and check in on the African Violets they planted a few weeks ago (another story, another day). Forget the fact that I was supposed to use the car so I could go out to the lake with a friend (yes a boy but that's a whole other story...), which I"d already told my dad like TEN FREAKIN DAYS AGO. But no. He pointed out how selfish I was being to want to use the car for any other purpose than to please my sister. Is anything in our family used for any other purpose? I swear to god sometimes I feel like we exist for her benefit and her benefit only. |
In any case and it surprises me that I of all people will say it this doesn't take anything away from the video for me. For once, I'm not really bothered by it. Go figure. I am, nonetheless, glad to know about this new inconsistency. One of these days we need to compile a list of them all. Then the Creators will probably kill us.
ETA: Is it possible to edit myspace blog entries? If so, they can just change it to "mom" and it will smooth this one out.

Nice catch. Maybe the parents are divorced and have split custody or something.
But probably just a continuity error. _________________ I'm canon; the Creators just don't know it yet. |

I love Sarah. But, the creators try too hard with the emo thing. I think it just comes out more silly than anything. This is going to sound terribly rude, but it's more stereotypical meets lame. I would just subtle it down a bit. Let me stop before my ocd kicks in and I start drawing diagrams and posting pictures on what I think they whould do.
I saw this pointed out before, but the dad thing, way obvious. Again guys... think subtle. Most of us here are pretty intelligent. A very subtle mention in the script, with better acting from (I don't know the actress' name) Taylor, will go a long way.
Though it is kind of hard with such short videos...
Taylor's growing on me as well, a little more acting lessons for the actress, and she could easily become one of my favorites. It just, seems like she's almost mimicking what she sees in "teen" movies. But I get the feeling it's more of a "getting into the character"-type thing. That's just what I got.
But other than that, good music and a fun video..
And yes, totally thought Sarah was about to flip the bird. I'd bet money that there's a take where she IS flicking Taylor off. |

Umm, they wouldn't only live with their mum, they'd visit their dad and stay for weekends and holidays and whatnot...

Sarah rocks. No denyin' it. You just can't. Period.
And Taylor's near-Debbie-Berwick-ness (to reference Phil of the Future) is a good match for Sarah.
Long live them both! _________________ <a href="http://www.hymnofone.org/audition"><img src="http://www.hymnofone.org/audition/badge30.gif" width="129" height="142" border="0" /></a> |

But if it's a typical day? And the use of phrases like "the car" (which she'd called dibs on for that day ten days earlier) and "our family." |
