everyone is like, "Sarah is wearing black to match her mood". Having been an overnight-bus-traveler myself, you wear black because it doesnt stain or show dirt as easy. Please tell me I'm not the first person to have said that?

Doubt it, unless she really doesn't care how her poor feet feel after all that time, only how she stains, lol. Those heels = nuts for travelling, oh my. I took a train all night -- I wore jeans, a dark hoodie, and my oldest, most comfortable sneakers ever. I think Sarah's just crazy.

(And oh my, your avatar is large! O_O )

I agree with the above poster that the vids have gotten better. I think it's because there's plot movement that seems to be happening and they're interacting with all aspects of the plot, not just sitting around or having in fighting without furthering a story.

What's with the white clothing? The Orderites, Bree, now the deacon (I'm assuming that's who that dude at the end was, but again -- speculation)? Waaay back, when Alex was still around, wasn't white a symbol of good/purity/non-threateningness (yeah, I made up that word, but w/e)? I dunno, it just seems odd to me that suddenly all of the "bad guys" are looking angelic. *shrugs*

Well I don't think the the Hymn of One considers itself an evil organization. In the real world I don't think even the evilest of people consider themselves that. People always think they are doing some sort of Good, and the creators effectively reflect that on their clothing.

is it just me or is lg15 becoming way better then it ever was? i seriously love the last 2 videos. they're bringing us viewers back into puzzle/clue solving mood. good job creators

Yeah, It's seems to me that they're getting back on a roll.

I was a little annoyed with Sarah in this video (and I love her character)

But when you pair, a. the fact that she doesn't know the extent of the situation BDJ is in, no has she experienced it herself, and 2. 26 hours bus rides are hell, and last, she is a natural bitch (which is ok)...

I can't blame her, I do hope/think that she'll become more aware of the situation, and get more serious... It seems like that's where it's going...

*crosses fingers*

Anyone else think that, that last shot was a little weird/off?

Hmm, was it just me or was that little girl at the end the same one who played Jules's sister?

I can't be sure, but it looks to me like the girl in this video might be slightly older than Jules's sister. However, I am not able to see her clearly enough and for a long enough time to get any details on the child. You never know, though.

Gah, that's what I get for not reading all of the comments before posting my two cents... looks like the Jules' sister idea was already thrown out before I got to it. Darn. Razz

I was actually thinking, it wasn't a case of them thinking they're good, but trying to come off as being good.

Because, after all, isn't the religion a cover for something bigger/more sinister?

Thank you, for making the point I was trying to make (unsuccessfully). Smile That's essentially the vibe that I'm getting from the Hymn of One: they make a show of being serene, and peaceful, and inspirational, when underneath all of that fluff is a darker purpose, something self-serving and evil. Take into consideration the Manson "family", for example. All love and acceptance at first, but murder and jailtime later.

I think that, in the Hymn of One, only a chosen few actually are aware that the religion is a front.

Most of the followers probably do not know anything about The Order.

The whiteboard in the bunker even said so.

i think that the question in the audition about age beinga treatable desease is a huge clue. i have a feeling that preventing aging or death might be one of the goals of hymn of one. also the question about global conflict. that might mean that the ceremony somehow wants to unite all nations. they're looking for smart people and people who don't fall inlove easily(to get the perfect score on the audition that question had to be answered with strongly disagree). those questions are a load of clues.

EDIT: i keep confusing hymn of one, and the order. who wants bree to do the cermony?

I totally agree, too. I haven't been around that long, obviously, (I came in around "Vegas, Baby") but there's definitely been an uptick in quality and plot advancement with the last few vids.

Also wanted to add: Congrats to Apo and Impulse for the shout-outs!

M'hmmm, it seems like most people genuinely believe (or would believe, since we haven't seen many regular members so I'm only assuming) that the Hymn of One is a legitimate religion that can help them "find the way."

There is probably a lot of focus on spiritual life. After all, Bree talked about ceremonies and seemed to have an understanding of her spiritual existance. She really seemed to believe in her religion even if she didn't talk a lot about it. I doubt they sit them down at meetings and make battle plans.

um, you guys?

What is carved onto the stump at 2:49? Shocked

It looks like "HELP" except, it also looks like runes.

Also, what is up with the creepy background ghostly voices?

EDIT: oh. nvm, I found a thread about the stump . Embarassed

However, as much as I like Sarah, I feel her presence a bit forced, and it seems like she feels it too. Obviously she is there because people like her her role was probably meant to be much shorter and the popularity of the character was unexpected, but if she only there to do sexy things then the character will get boring fast. Hope that's not the case and that the creators give her something important to do.

Now obviously I hope as much as the next person that she'll do important things, but Inigo, the first two sentences of this paragraph would make bunnies cry — or at least me anyway. I expect more from you than this. All I can say is shame on you. Shame be upon you! Shame on you

In all seriousness, though, I don't think this video was meant to be taken as an indication of what Sarah's role will always be. It's rather refreshing, I think, to see a character who isn't quite so gung-ho about finding hidden stuff and fighting the Order. Really, the impression I get from her is that she involves herself in the goings-on of TAAG largely because she's bored. I think this is part of the character's worldview, not so much an indication that she was forced into the plot here without them really thinking about it.

When I mentioned liking how she strolls through situations earlier, that's really the kind of impression I get from her: She does this stuff to entertain herself (and because she likes DB). It makes me wonder if Apo's recent determination that Sarah is a solipist is correct. It doesn't necessarily mean that she's inconsiderate or unable to identify with others' feelings, but she may very well question how much of the reality she perceives is objective.

In either case, I find her behavior fascinating, in all honesty, and I look forward to seeing her actually transition from this rather indifferent state to one more concerned with the situation. That said, though, I'd like to see her maintain a bit of this attitude. Perhaps a confidence on some level that things will always turn out okay, if only because she wants them to.

If anyone here has played "Final Fantasy XII," think of Balthier. In his mind, everything that was going on was just a story and he was the lead in it. Even when he was facing certain death, he remained calm when warned and said "I hope you haven't forgotten my role in this little story. I'm the leading man. You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies."

I agree that this gives us insight and that it definitely sounds like they want immortality, but I'd like to clarify before any misunderstandings arise that it was actually strongly agreeing that one falls in love easily which was needed to get 100%.

By the way, aren't they absolutely adorable together, guys?:

Especially when you look at how delighted and embarassed Daniel was:

my first reaction was that the people at the end were practicing for the ceremony maybe..? there was a little girl. she seems a lot younger than any other suspected ceremony girl. but bree used to have to go and do weird training with Lucy, and it looks to me like she's being directed around

that doesn't explain why the heck the older person is wearing some weird robes.

maybe they're rehearsing for another play ??

edit:

also.. i hear a lot children noises near 1:09.
