OH MY GOODNESS! Could you imagine the flockof people? The amounts of money offered in exchange for a chance to get into the Seminar? WHO will be there? Will cameras be allowed during the seminar? Wow...I still say there should be a live feed, for all of us who are too far away.

It's gonna be interesting to see who gets in, they specified in the e-mail not to be early or late, so that cancels camping out and waiting.
Im thinking....road trip

Gah. I would kill to be able to go to this thing in CA. If I had a really, really rich uncle and NO SCHOOL nor a PROM the next day... hisssssssss *bangs head against a wall* I would so be there, lol.
I'm not trying to be pissy, I like that other people get to participate and hopefully they'll post what the see and hear on the forums for those of us who can't be there... but good lord, I am soooo jealous.
I will try to contain myself. And not seeeeethe with jealousy for the next three days, hehe. At least I live in the US and not overseas.
Maybe sometime this summer after everyone's school is out you lovelies (the Creatatrons) could consider holding an event that's more planned, and maybe more central to the country so that more people could attend?
I know there was talk of having a conference in LA, but train fare to that is outrageous, lol. Then again, there I go being selfish again. Maybe something about in the middle, it doesn't even have to be a conference. I'm just ridiculously jealous right now of just about everyone in CA, hehe.
Aaanyway, this is pretty exciting. I hope someone gets footage! Please oh please post some stuff for the rest of us to get an idea of what happened.

You'd have to leave... tonight, hehe. Unless you plan on not sleeping until you get there.  That's a bad idea, lol.
If I wasn't down to my last few weeks of school or had a prom to get to on Friday, I'd probably be just crazy enough to take a train down there and hitch a ride, haha.
See where it gets unsafe? You're gonna have fans from Vermont showing up after having hitchhiked with truckers and the like, lol. Wow, I'd love to meet the crazy people showing up at this thing.

They also specified that only those who received emails and replied would even get in...so I'm guessing they'll match people up to the list of addresses that they mailed out.
BUt the message said not to discuss it....so obviously somebody slipped. Or did they? It seems that by telling pretty much unknown people to keep something quiet is a sure-fire way of getting it announced from the rooftops.
From the responses here, it seems the ones who DID get the message are will be attending aren't talking. Still, I'd be pretty freaked out to go to an event like this. Now that the event and the meeting location is well known, can you imagine the paparazzi-like atmosphere or goodness who knows hanging out taping the event.
That bum in the park might be taping people against their wishes.
I'd love to attend an even like this, but I wouldn't want to of the creepy LG15 stalkers to post video of me hanging out at the park. I think you guys know what I mean. |

I am sure The Creators knew it would leak. But, for the realism of being involved with the series, it would make sense to not allow anyone to know!

I said the same thing! Paparazzi trying to BRIBE the golden tickets out of the hands of those chosen few!

You're probably right on checking the names and e-mails -- gosh, I'd hate to go all the way there and not be able to get in. I wonder how they picked who to send messages to.
Did everyone "eligible" get an e-mail? (By this, I mean of majority age living within distance of the location?) I can just imagine that it had something to do with being old enough and living close enough. I'm 18 from NY and didn't receive one, so most likely they rule you out if you're too far.
Ha, I'm just too nosey about this. Not that it matters. I'm supposed to be doing an english project, hehe... stop distracting me!!

But how will they authenticate? It is just an email. IF I have the email, I can send a friend or family member or old next door neighbor or someone, my email info so they could open it, print the email and go themselves. Are they going to check IDs at the door? What will they be looking for?

there seem to be a few minors on here saying they got email invitations. I think the Creators believed people's responses on there too much...it sort of concerns me that kids will be going to this--what if these HoO videos are all a ruse to get minors to show up to an event to get kidnapped by Bree and Daniel!
