Perhaps cake + clown = birthday party?

Also, are you discounting the merry-go-round, clown, free admission thing?

Didn't Taylor sort of drop a hint about that?

Are you talking about the one in Santa Cruz?

I've been there before, there's definitely a carousel and a clown, but have any of the characters been there before? The "return" is throwing me...

Okay, okay. I think I have something. As I said earlier, I was looking up information on anything having to do with police or ponies in Sherman Oaks. I went to the Sherman Oaks Chamber Of Commerce, and I found info. on a War Memorial Park on this page: http://www.shermanoakschamber.org/sherman_oaks/index.cfm

They also listed a telephone number for the park, so I called it and asked if there were going to be any events involving horses in the near future. The guy said not at that park, but at another close by. I didn't catch the name of the second park, because I have crappy cell phone reception. I'm going to do more research to see if I can find anything else out.

This dead hourse parking lot is a place they have been before. What if they mean return to dead hourse park or that area.

I'm thinking that "ponies" may be more slang than anything else.

WIll this ring any bells? Here are some phrases that apply to "ponies":

advertising campaign, advertising blitz

bet, gamble

compensate, pay back

contribute, donate

subscribe, pay for use

disburse, spend

supply, furnish

give, contribute

glass, cup

liqueur glass, glass for holding liqueur

Urban dictionary:

Twenty five pounds. Usually used in London.

cockney money slang 25 pounds sterling

Cockney rhyming slang; "pony-and-trap" - crap

to give back; to return something, usually money

A member of the equine family that measures up to 14.3hh. No taller. Anything above 14.3hh is classes as a hack, park hack etc.

1 (n): A loser, tool, or person of lower standing
2 (v): a) to own or humiliate through defeat b) to spam text through a chat program (especially in IRC) with the word "pony" or similar phrases, implying that an individual or group is a pony

slang for a Ford Mustang, an older muscle car that was quickly replaced and outshined by the Pontiac Firebird.

a sidleing strut, akin to a sashay, but with more knee movement and hip thrusting. Used to express joy

At the seminar, we drank from glasses/cups...but I don't think that this would help Daniel/Jonas/Sarah in the slightest

Definately not now that I found out it is free admission.

We got horses. We got a clown. We got a guy named C. I. D. Its at an amusement park (probably affected by inclimate conditions). Im all for Santa Cruz Boardwalk http://beachboardwalk.com/03_press_carousel.html

At least if you went there and it was nothing you could get an elephant ear or a funnel cake.

This may be a long shot and I appologize if someone already said this, but is there a merry go round in the area?

I found pictures of one in Santa Monica Pier which is close but no address.

This merry go round is in an amuzement park. Santa Cruz Boardwalk. It was designed by a Charles I. D. Looff. Or (C.I.D. Looff). One of the features is a clown that holds a golden ring that you grab on your way by. I don't know if they would lead us to a place that charges admission though. http://beachboardwalk.com/03_press_carousel.html

Whoa edit the boardwalk's admission is FREE!

This is what I was thinking of...on closer inspection its not as promising as when I first read it.

Alright, I'm making some progress, I guess. According to the city of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, there is going to be a HUGE "Salute to Recreation" spanning today, tomorrow, and Sunday. The brochure is here: http://www.laparks.org/salute/entertainment.htm
According to the brochure, there is going to be a PETTING ZOO, and there's a good probability that there will be a clown there. I'm still researching, and I thought I'd put this up.
