Sorry for the delayed response. I was checking another part of the forum.
I'm doing well so far. I was in the middle of a fantastic dream when I was awakened by a phone call which was really, really important. I was kind of cotton mouthed and delirous answering the call. I'm on my 2nd cup of coffee now.

Hehehe...I'm on me 2nd cup as well, so my brain has finally started working.
I'm doing good. Its been a crazy, busy week for me. Recital is this Sunday, so I've been a total stress case getting ready for it. On top of all that, my son had his testing at Sylvan this week (4 1/2 hours worth) and I took my daughter to visit her preschool so I've really been running.
I just want it to be Monday so I can relax. |

You and I are two of the only people who can choose to relax on Monday!!
However.. I'm supposed to tape a radio show for B98.5 on a Monday. I'm really psyched. It's about my book. I'm not sure what Sunday the show will air.
Tell me a little about the recital. I'm curious.

As of Monday, I will officially be out of work until the second week of July and I love it! It gives me the chance to relax and spend some quality time with my kids.
The recital is our end of year performance for the students. I rent a theater for the day, we design a set of sorts (its pretty much just stuff hanging in the back) and they get to perform on stage for their friends and family. Its roughly 2 1/2 hours long. There are 38 dances in the show this year and all of the songs are One Hit Wonders .
Its kind of my tongue in cheek joke, since this is my second year owning the studio, so we made it past the first year. I taped the dress rehearsal and I'm going to post some of the dances on my YouTube account once I get the time. |

WOW.. That IS a huge deal. One hit wonders are a lot of fun. I cannot wait to see it on YouTube and I hope you post a link!
Oh, and when I get awake enough, I need to call and find out if we can tape this Monday or if I have to wait 2 weeks. Either way, I'm fine with it. I'm not really that nervous, since I've been on NPR before, but B98.5 is a bigger deal.

No problem! I just called and left a message at the radio station and then sent an email. We have to tape on a Saturday or Monday, so we're trying to work out a date tht will work. The person interviewing me has already read my entire book and loves it. I'm excited!
It's a morning show that airs on Sundays, and it's based on mental health and developmental disabilities. My book covers both and their inter-relationships.
So, if you're still around, we can chat (intermittently) while I do some other things too. I tend to drop in and out during the day.
