I'm actually convinced that the lightswitch is a clue that we're supposed to examine the luminosity to these characters. Bree is being dimmed by the oppression of her religious cult and her parental upbringing. Daniel is attempting to spark the light of realization and recognition in Bree by exposing the truth (and not hiding it in the dark). Plus, he's trying to turn her on. 
Wow, that sorta made sense...

wow, this was too much! rofl!
i only got to the daniel wanting to turn her on part on my head, and when she is on, then lights will be off. 
edit: we need to investigate on this clue
we need to know
-what model number or series is the switch?
-where did they buy it?
-who installed it?
-which light does it turns off and on, and that bulb, how many watts?
-how many like that are installed around the house?

What happens if you turn on a light too fast? Your eyes look like a deer in headlights. 
Thus making whoever is in the room doe-eyed. Now where have we heard Bree referred to as doe-eyed before???

I found this in the YT comments section under the 'Boy Problems' video:

I do like him...I think...I don't know...arrrghh. I just have been in this position before and my parents ruined it and I already know how much Daniel doesn't get along with them so...
I found it rather intriguing. She's been in this position before?
I know this doesn't really pertain to recent events, but she does admit a 'like' for Daniel. I wonder what happened; how her parents ruined it, and who they ruined it for.
Seems like Daniel isn't the first to feel the brunt of Bree's religion.

You don't think this refers to Cassie's leaving her? She seemed pretty bewildered at the thought of a romantic boy-girl relationship. Although she did say she has always gotten along with boys better than girls except for Cassie. |

Hmmm...Cassie is a thought. Though, in the context of the YT comments, it seemed they were discussing relationships rather than friendships.
Maybe it was her teacher? Maybe the other students were right afterall.

i also managed to talk and mess with someguy's head, used him to communicate and make videos, and made him blow his head off ITS LIKE OMG!  . so how about you?

I've noticed in many of her videos her room is messy in one, neat and organized in others. Before the ceremony, it seemed like her room was getting messier, which just led me to think she was spending all her time there. I doubt the fact that her room is messy (while she's noticeably more "together" than her last video) is a clue.
My theory is that the ceremony is essentially just what Bree sorta said it would be: a relatively innocuous initiation ceremony that's bringing her into the "secret order", allowing her to see more of the truth behind it. I've thought all along that the story was going to set up so Bree would be torn between caring for Daniel and her religion. I still think that will be the main storyline, only now I'm guessing as she starts to poke around and ask questions, she's going to discover some things about her religion that make her really uncomfortable, and her and Daniel are going to have to team up to figure out what's going on and how to get out (similar to what Toaddude said). |
sounds like a plausible theory |
