All excellent. Personally, I'm leaning more towards the first one you mentioned. It really seemed like Jonas was getting through to her for a while. She kissed him in "old Bree" mode, full aware of what was going on. But the HofO voice still embedded in her brain switched on at the most inopportune of moments, and she bolted from, as you called him, "the enemy."
Again, just my humble opinion, but optimism is always more comforting than imagning the worst, no?
ETA: any more non-Order theories?

i haven't thoroughly read every single post here but my sincere hope is that bree was just supremely freaked out by what she allowed herself to do last night *wink wink* and needed to sneak away from super crazy happy jonas for awhile to sort out her thoughts without ruining his "morning after." i mean, it's been pointed out that bree uber freaked out over even kissing DB. granted, this is a VERY different situation, but come on... the morning after for an older and probably (judging by his body and lack of supervision all his life) more experienced guy and a virgin who is in the midst (hopefully) of losing the whole religion her moral system has been based on for her whole life are two very different experiences.
of course, i'm just being optimistic because i doubt that jonas would've ended his video like that if he'd just found bree sulking outside or something. but especially if, even more unrealistically and foolishly optimistically, the kiss etc. brought her closer to normal, she'd definitely wake up much less comfortable with what just happened than she was the night before in her semi-haze.
like i said, it's just what i really really want to happen, not what will have happened. and i guess it IS about time to get back to plot and away from all the Dawson's-esque teen drama. dammit  |

I don't think HOO kidnapped her again.
I am wondering if the whole thing was a set up from the Hymm of One - make it look like they stole bree back instead of just giving her back so they'd be less suspicious. With Alex's help they made a code that JOnas would easily be able to decifer.
Maybe she was supposed to seduce jonas for some reason, get some information and go back. Maybe she needed to distract him to get something from him that he always carries in his pocket. or something.
I'm sure this was the first theory posed but I haven't read through everything, so I concur.
Maybe fucking jonas is necessary for the ceremony. I mean, he's got all these ties to HOO.
Maybe there was no purity bond, she was just supposed to be with a certain person first, or a certain person only, and that's why kissing daniel was wrong.
Who knows. |

The thing that bugs me the most about Bree is: She cannot tell the truth, even when everyone's well-being and safety depends on what is going on with her.
I cannot forgive Bree for the numerous times she has withheld information from the "team", and especially for getting in that car. Bree is not a team player. She uses people like they are her playthings.

Oh, wow. So what's the overall opinion? Did they finally do it or not? Hmmm.
Shirt on headboard, Bree showering after sleeping in the same bed, him making her breakfast. The man had no shirt. Surely they didn't smooch and then go lay down in bed reading bedtime stories with the two of them shirtless.
Well. I clearly need to read the past 15 pages, lol. Wonder where Bree's off to now.

Ok.. So, Jonas made this video up to throw the Order off and to make them believe two things
(1) Bree is impure.
(2) They have no idea where the hell she is.
It WOULD be a good move, after all.

Hell yeah I want theories! I'm so sick of people assuming the worst when it comes to BDJ and the Order. (Although, I must say, not as sick as I am of the Creators for repeating the same story arc over and over and over...  ) A little positivism never killed anyone!
