They make key lime donuts?! Heeehehe....are they green? Being from Florida, I get special pleasure out of green key lime pies or other products. It makes me laugh. I actually am not a donut person anyway. I couldn't tell ya the last time I had one. When I do have one, it's the boring cake kind which I kind of obsessively shake and scrape the powdered sugar off of:

Although, when I lived in ATL, we did go get a dozen hot KrisyKremes, half glazed, half plain from time to time. We determined that eating a plain one underneath a glazed one was the best way to do it...or else you'd go into some type of sugar induced coma. Damn were those little bastards greasy and sticky! So good for the first few bites...then they made you feel like the grossest, fattest person alive:

Heh. Yeah, the donuts had this bright green frosting on them with kerchunkulets of what I'm guessing was supposed to be graham cracker crust. And of course, also the green ooze in the middle. Bleh. It SOUNDS like it should be good. Rolling Eyes

Me, I either do the glazed or sprinkles. I have a weird adversion to custard/cream/jelly filled things. The smooth texture is gross.

When Mohegan Sun got a Krispy Kreme, people were talking like it was the best thing ever. I still haven't gone and now after reading your description....

Krispykremes are really good...but you can eat them in like 3 bites and I think one donut= 3,000,000,000,000,000 calories. I think the whole obsession about them is that you can get them while they're still piping hot. They're definitely something you have to try at least once..plus some of the stores have glass walls so you can watch them going through the glaze and being dipped in the oil on little rollers and conveyor belts. I have a factory obsession so that was my favorite part.

As for slutiness....doesn't scare me..not one bit.
