While I doubt that this was a ploy, it's been emphasized more than enough that the Order does watch the videos. Heck, one particular development in the plot required it (Bree telling Lucy to e-mail her about a location to trade herself for Daniel). |
It is the old argument.
I gotta say it again: there are people in The Order and The Hymn of One who see the vids. Those people keep the knowledge to themselves.
They are either jockeying for power withing the Organization, or they are Resistance infiltrators. They use the intelligence for their own purposes.
I think you both see it as all or nothing; it isn't in black or white. This is a grey area.
Not everyone in The Order sees the videos, and those who do don't share the info.

Apo makes a good point. The Order is so complex and with so many factions that it is difficult to generalize or make assumptions about what they may be seeing.

Hey! Girls do know if it's good or not the first time. Its pretty obvious, girls are able to distinguish whether sex was a good experience or a bad one...
PS: I don't think Jonas is capable of being "no good". I'm biased but oh well.

Whether everyone sees them or not (and I still continue to think that at least everyone important in the Order sees them, including everyone across the various factions or philosophies), cG seemed to be suggesting that no one does.

To a lot of people "hooked up" means "started dating." That's where a lot of confusion came from with that DB vid, I think. Even though Beast only said that they hugged and kissed, and even said "It's not what you think," some people still took the "hooked up" as implying sex. I guess it depends on where you live and how the phrase is used there. |

yes very true... but i live in southern california where the writers and actors live... around here it implies pashing... unless your in college like the age of the characters... that implies a shag... iono thats how i see it...

There has never been any logic as to who sees what, it started out simple enough, but as the series has progressed the question has gotten more and more complicated.
The C's tried to take the issue back to square one with Nikki's statement that the Order doesn't watch the videos, but that just confused the question even more.
Apo does a good job of trying to bring some sense of logic to the inconsistencies , but you can't impose logic on chaos.
For me the question is just not something I don't worry about any longer, I simply don't expect anything to make sense anymore. |
