if the best guesses are really right, though, and bree, rushing to daniel's defense, is going to realize that her religion is evil and struggle to get away from it -
isn't that kind of boring and generic? OMG, evil religion? i mean, i'm not religious at all, but i'd like to see something in which alternative religions/lifestyles (in the broadest sense - homeschooling, etc.) aren't cast as evil and diametrically opposed to "normal" society. what was interesting about LG15 from the beginning was that bree's religion/parents weren't portrayed as totally evil (despite implications of satanism and obvious overprotectiveness). of course, i'm not suggesting that a happy ending in which lucy and daniel hug and become penpals is the optimal solution, either. |

Is it really evil though? I think it's pretty much just different from what everyone's used to. Sure they're secretive and everything but...
Eh... I don't know. I just have a sore spot for anyone saying that something is outright "evil" especially when it comes to a person's religion. Not saying you're wrong or bad or anything. Just what is truly "evil?" |

yeah, but theres also the possibility that someone in the group could be a cop. They have to have day jobs xD
I guess that would open up a whole new line of conspiracy if there were people of law enforcement / people in high places involved, like being able to cover up anything that happens to anyone, if that made sense...and sorry if its been mentioned before...im tired xD |
Yep, that's entirely possible. I would imagine they'd have some higher ranking officials than just regular cops..like chiefs of police, commisioners etc. You know, if Daniel told the cops he might be able to start some real trouble...like if enough "regular" people found out, and it became "common knowledge" , there would be too many people to silence...that could potentially screw them, at least for now (assuming they don't have a huge number of people involved).

You're by far not the only ones who are sort of wincing at those implications in this video. But look at it this way -- everyone else had their turn to wince and smack their foreheads and say, "wow, I guess I really misread the clues" when the ceremony itself was fairly uneventful. So maybe it's now just our turn to be all addlepated over something.

Seriously, we all saw Daniel's video. Based on that, what could Bree or the cult heavies have to "get him" for? The quality was so poor that there could've been an elephant, a phoenix, a fire engine, and the Detroit Tigers involved and we'd never know.

i think you are misreading me. my point was actually exactly yours - that religions can be different without being "evil" and yet are often portrayed as the "dark force" in a lot of media. i was characterizing what have come to be termed the most plausible theories on this forum (e.g. bree is going to disappear/"investigate" with daniel, etc.) as implying that her religion was evil. the rest of my post goes on to say that i actually think there should be space for different religions and that it is unfortunate that they are always vilified. |

I'm actually convinced that the lightswitch is a clue that we're supposed to examine the luminosity to these characters. Bree is being dimmed by the oppression of her religious cult and her parental upbringing. Daniel is attempting to spark the light of realization and recognition in Bree by exposing the truth (and not hiding it in the dark). Plus, he's trying to turn her on.

i only got to the daniel wanting to turn her on part on my head, and when she is on, then lights will be off. 
edit: we need to investigate on this clue
we need to know
-what model number or series is the switch?
-where did they buy it?
-who installed it?
-which light does it turns off and on, and that bulb, how many watts?
-how many like that are installed around the house? |
And of course, we know that Lucifer means "light bringer." Coincidence?
I think not!
And don't even get me started with the implications of the light switch in terms of the Illuminati. |
