TPBM thinks this theory of Bree's random number/symbol punching during the chat is pretty awesome, considering that Bree plays piano... (and TPBM doesn't blame me for not knowing how to do a direct link to this particular post...)

in music, often times when working with instruments in different keys, u refer to the notes as numbers.

Following your idea, I got

I considered 8 to be the fundamental 1 octave up, and 0 being a 10, i.e., e, and I chose 5- to be a blue note (Gb) instead of F#, hehehe.
