So "words can hurt" is referring to Josh/iamcool?
"dont be led astray" is probably referring to Mayati. Its obvious that Ms Kelly considers her a threat.
and "not jumping to conclusions" is maybe talking about herself and her newfound trust of her students?
But maybe the file names also tie in with the captions under the pictures...can anybody post those? I can't remember and my internet is fritzing out b/c of the tropical depression.

when I search for all three sayings (words can hurt,no jumping to conclusions, and do not be led astray) I come up with Richard feynman's
The Meaning of it all- A collection of 3 lectures he gave in 1963.

Has anyone read this? I can't quite make the xonnection, and I don't have the book.
I don't know if these were points he covered.
Feynam was left handed (the picture of the left hand writing) And he is one of Bree's heros , whom she has mentioned a bit.

Very interesting observation. Perhaps Bree learned of him through her time with the HSA?

I've read it I think, but it's been awhile. I'll have to see if it's in the library. It's possible that those are phrases he would use.

Feynman is a great read btw. I just looked him up and found this quote:

"In general we look for a new law by the following process. First we guess it. Then we compute the consequences of the guess to see what would be implied if this law that we guessed is right. Then we compare the result of the computation to nature, with experiment or experience, compare it directly with observation, to see if it works. If it disagrees with experiment it is wrong. In that simple statement is the key to science. It does not make any difference how beautiful your guess is. It does not make any difference how smart you are, who made the guess, or what his name is -- if it disagrees with experiment it is wrong. That is all there is to it "

On a hunch I google imagesearched "chinese character love" and came up with nothing. But then I googled "chinese character loyalty" and came up with what looks like, to my untrained eye, a match for the first image:

The image from Ms. Kelly's site:

The image I found via google, "loyalty":

I have to go for a few hours, but maybe that will give someone a starting point?

Also, I vaguely remember something about certain Chinese characters being very similar to characters in other asian languages, so it might not DEFINITELY be Chinese... hopefully one of you knows more about asian languages than I do.

Okay, I still think that's definitely loyalty, but now I kind of think it's Japanese. The directions of some of the brush strokes are more similar to the japanese characters for loyalty that came up in google.

Look:
From HSAO:

Japanese character found via google:

I'm still working on the second one.

I consulted an expert who id them pretty quickly:

"The top character is "zhong" which means "loyal, devoted". The bottom
character is "ren" which means "endure, tolerate"."

Much thanks to Erik.
