He'll either stay missing or turn up in a few days looking terrified and say "There was nothing strange about Bree's religion. I was wrong." sounding like he's reading from a script. Well...more than usual at least...

It's so hard to say right now! I want it to be something super-dramatic, but it could be another anti-climatic move like the ceremony.

Hmm...he could be on the run. I mean, I'm pretty sure as soon as the Order found out that he's been stalking them they started to do the same to him. Maybe he's hiding out at someones house now? Like a new characters house? That's one direction to go in.

I think he went to Tijuana and drank a fifth of tequilla, met a pretty senorita' named Maria, and passed out. Oh, and...of course, he woke up the next day in a bathtub full of ice, missing a kidney.

yeah, this occurred to me. the song in the video is named for a guy who was a famous long distance road racer. Could this imply a long trip for Daniel, maybe over I-10 to az, and tx. Oh coincidence, the race car driver was kidnapped at one point in his life. Later released unharmed. Anybody?

He simply did what a lot of us said he probably should... packed his bags and ran for the mountains.

...okay, that was a bad point to use that saying, but he probably went into hiding and told his parents he was with friends as a cover-up.
