Don't worry about it!! I've been all over the net looking for advice and haven't found anything.

I'm just gonna go to the store (wearing a baseball cap) tomorrow and find some dark dye and dunk my head. Bleh. Laughing

Thanks for the support! Very Happy
No problem! One time, I dyed my hair with these green and pink blacklight responsive dyes, but it ended out horrible and I looked like a rotting watermelon; so I feel your pain.

Good luck!!

Rotting watermelon. Pretty picture. Smile

See you later, Mirage. Good luck and keep us posted on the hair ordeal.

I have no clue how it happened. I left it in for 25 minutes, like I'm supposed to. It looks awful. If I wasn't so bummed I'd take a picture of it...but I'd rather forget it's even on my head. Very Happy

As long as it's all one color at this point (and not grey!! I'm 24!!), I dont care. Very Happy

Dude, I'd say come on over to CT and come watch it with me...but it's not playing anywhere!! It came out today, and it's a major film, not an indie thing or whatever....

Sigh. What else? Very Happy

Come to MO (Misery). I'm sure it's playing here somewhere.

Go with the hat plan tomorrow to buy a darker dye. That seems the only logical fixer-upper at the moment.

Flauta is in Missouri? Smile

She sure is! And I see you are too.

Yep. Smile Wanna talk? Smile

About...the ridiculous Amendment 2 on the November ballot which will allow cloning?

Because I'm pretty pissed about that one right now.

Eeesh, that's a tricky one, as it becomes an amendment to the Constitution, essentially preventing any further democratic debate or any potentially desireable restrictive laws on research. Don't get me wrong, I don't oppose stem cell research...I do oppose putting in place a constitutional amendment preventing the legislature from putting in place any kind of brakes which may be needed on the basis of ethics or morality.

AGREED. See, I wish people would actually get off their ignorant asses and read the amendment so that they realize what this is. A poll was taken last year and 89% of Missourians were against cloning. Sooo the "coalition" hired a bunch of lawyers (I don't hate lawyers, I may become one) to complicate the amendment by using a myriad of definitions instead of "cloning."

It really sucks and don't be surprised to see me on TV at the polls on the 7th. Because that's where I plan to be (well, not on TV, per se).

Nope. Kansas City. But, hey, I have a big mouth.

National News! That'd be sweet, although half of my friends would probably disown me. Confused

Hey, I lived in Washington, DC for 13 years. Plenty of friends in politics and government. 99% of the time, bills and policies proposed have far different effects than that which is advertised. Heck, a politician can accuse another of being "weak on defense" for voting against a defense appropriations bill...when 50% of the bill was for spending on riders that had ZERO to do with defense (protection of the green banana spotted wood slug, research on cow flatulence, whatever). You need to be a sophisticated viewer to be an intelligent voter, and alas, few are today. Congratulations to you.

Because of that religion, she decided to break ties with the rest of the family. She's never met my wife, and I've never met my nephew Sad

Interesting, my dad is my step-then-adoptive-dad, but the only guy I ever thought of as dad as well. That's too bad about your sis...tho I guess actually I am kind of like her..I'm the black sheep of my family and speak only to my sister, a few times a year (why I don't speak with my mother is an entirely different topic). I'm always envious of people who have loving families and have close bonds with them. Maybe your sister will change her mind someday, if she feels like that too. Confused

I'm with ya, spacie..I have a fridge magnet that says, "If I ever need religion, I'll worship chocolate cake." I can't beat that logic, no ma'am.
