I think it would be very foolish for the folks running the KM character accounts to "friend" an account of this name if it was not canon. But then again...

She's part of the KateModern group - no canon member would be part of it.
She added Kate, Tariq, and Gavin - they have accepted, yet she's not in the top friends.
If she were a canon member, she'd be in their top friends.
But yes, I disbelieve this is canon, because even though it'll be set in the same world, I don't think this will follow the OoD/HoO/OpAphid storyline, which Gemma was firmly set in.
All in all, we have no reason to believe this is Gemma, at all.

Aren't 'acrowleyorder' and other fanfiction friends with Jonas and Daniel etc. on myspace?
I'm pretty sure they were...if not that disregard that reason.
Anyway, until the Creators confirm it I'm going to be quite apprehensive about it.
Afterall, she didn't actually live in London whilst making those videos did she?

Again, it would be foolish to friend an account of this name. You wern't around for the CiW debacle, so I understand how you wouldn't think this is a big deal.
This is rife with game jack potential, and it would be really dumb of them to let this account be associated with them in ANY way...

Well, I just did some minor research. I was thinking, since the accounts are probably managed by the same people all cannon accounts will be active at almost the same times. Kates profile seems to be active more than the rest, wich doesn't really surprise me.
But when I looked now this was what I found:
Kate: Online
Charlie: 4 hours
Gavin: 4 hours
Tariq: 4 hours
Gemmers19: 6 hours
Since all canon accounts except for Kate's were active 2 hours after gemmers19's account was active, I'd say it's a minor hint to not canon.
Another thing someone could try is befriend every canon account and gemmers19's account. It's likely all canon accounts will accept you around the same time.
I sure hope it is the 'real' Gemma, but write me down as a sceptical. |

I find it funny that you think just because I haven't been a forum member for as long as you, that means I don't know about that.
I do know about that, but I don't really give a shit.
People learn from their and others mistakes. They wouldn't let it happen again, no.
But then again, the Creators haven't been known for having the most common sense, have they?
I honestly don't think there is enough credibility in that profile to label it canon.
Therefore, anything that hasn't been proven cannot be label as such.
For now, I think we should think of it as non-canon until it is proven canon (you know, like 'innocent until proven guilty' - 'non-canon until proven canon').

Agreed anything can happen right now with people makeing fake acounts. They wouldnt make another acount so late after the previous ones. They would of imediately created all of the to stop jackers from takeing the acount names. Kates profile has beena round about 3 weeks at least i asume the others were also amde some while ago. they then added them as soon as their acounts were presentable. within about 10 hours of each other they were added to each others friends. |

Let's carry the logic a little further: Would it be smart for them to friend accounts with names LG15 or Danielbeast etc.?
I am not really disputing if it is canon, I just think it was dumb to associate themselves with this account if it is not...
