Bree claims she feels bad about lying to Daniel, and that she has no idea why Lucy has his picture. But at the same time, she's the one who led him to the trap; is she so stupid as to think they wanted her to lure her friend to the fake ceremony for absolutely no purpose? She says it freaks her out that they took his picture, but shouldn't she be more freaked out that they asked her to do the luring in the first place? A picture of him is probably the least threatening result of luring him in, so what did she really expect?  |

Ok now you've gone too far. I think you and I were on the same page with theories before, pretty much, but to implicate that Owen has some stake in this, that he might be playing both sides in order to get extra turtle feed and that he's Lucy's mole (er, turtle) on the inside providing the Order with information on Bree's actions...well, I simply can't stand for that, sir. I say good day to you. |

Heh...to tell you the truth, I'm just impatiently waiting for the oweniswatching videos to pop up on YouTube! That's where the real action is at.
I kinda fell behind this weekend on the last couple of videos, but the lying one finally showed that Bree is becoming concerned about her religion. It also showed that she knows and understands very little about it. She has been believing what they tell her and defending her religion against Daniel with blind faith (which is, of course, what religion is). Now she's starting, perhaps, to think a little for herself.
I'm not sure why a few pictures of Daniel stalking her would cause this. I still feel like the Order or Elders or whoever need to do something serious to put a rift between Bree and her faith. And then Daniel will start to able to sway her away. And then they'll have to do something to get her back... Oooo...this is gonna be good!  (as long as they're not holding Owen hostage or something...I don't think I could handle that!  )

Yes, I think we are witnessing a major change in Bree's attitude here. Somehow Lucy has been trying to tell Bree she has to grow up a little (at a big cost for Purple Monkey and of course Owen!!!) and that's what she's doing by questioning and thinking by herself. Lucy should have thought twice about what she was asking. |

Either that or Daniel has made her question her beliefs. Maybe that is why he is considered a threat to whatever the Order is trying to do with her.

That's making me sad. It's clear that she's not as interested in playing with her REAL friends anymore (Owen, Thor, and Monkey). She's sorta being forced to mature, after her parents have pretty well shielded her from the world for long enough. Too bad it's happening because of a super secret and ominous religious "cult".

ok, just watched every video and read everything, and I have to say, yippee! Daniel and Bree are going to talk, can't wait for that vid. Anywho, my brain is itchy from all of this new info, but here's some stuff I figured on commenting on.
Ok for all those that are saying that Bree should have known that something was going to happen with the fake ceremony, I'm sorry but I think that you're giving her too much credit. Seriously, though she's sixteen, and as far as her intellect goes, a lot older than that, her street smarts are completely non-existant. I mean, she's naiive, and we all know that. She was told to trust the order, ALWAYS!!! She grew up with them and away from people that would teach her to doubt, so why would she think anything of what they tell her.
Also I think it's pretty obvious that the Creators (hehe I capitalized it too) have had this planned out, and the gauze on her arm is proof. I don't care what anyone says.
hmmm... As for Daniel not having many friends, we know of at least two, and I'm betting there are more, but my guess is he's at Paul's place, just 'cause he's the only male friend he's mentioned by name, and I'm doubtful that he would be at Andrea's 'cause Paul would be mad that Daniel's staying at his girlfriend's house. I'm looking too deep into this I'm sure.
I'm off to daydream for a bit, 'cause my first dating anniversary is next Saturday, and I'm like uber excited (not that you needed to know any of this.

Hmmm..that is an interesting point. He just says I'm at "my friend's place" or my friends house..he never says anything gender specific. He could be at a male's house...or a females.

Maybe what we saw really WAS the ceremony and now they had Bree say that it was a fake ceremony so that it would keep the fact that it WAS the ceremony a secret.
I make no sense. Sorry, it's early and I'm trying to think of ridiculous theories. |
