Jason:[To Ms. D] Religion and science hate each other. Actually, a lot of people follow science as if it's a religion. [To Autumn] Don't be like that, please. What is wrong? _________________ I like music, a lot. And yea, that's it.

Ms. D~ Both religion and science are grounded in philosophy. Philosophy has to do with how people see the world. Scientists believe in facts. They believe in following their minds. They believe they can be completely objective.
Religious and spiritual people follow their hearts. They believe in gut impressions. They are very subjective. They believe what they feel, by faith.
These are two polarized philosophies, but they are both philosophies. Science is not necessarily superior to religion. _________________ ~Welcome to LG-15- PM me for help!~

Ms. D~ Jason, you are correct. Science is a religion to many people. They so blindly follow "facts," as if they are the ultimate truth. They practically worship their own logic. _________________ ~Welcome to LG-15- PM me for help!~

Ms. D~ Autumn, you are not part of an experiment. Also, that language has no place in this classroom. I will need to ask you to refrain from obscenity while in this class. Thank you. _________________ ~Welcome to LG-15- PM me for help!~

Ms. D~ Autumn, this is your second warning about your potty mouth. Once again and I will have to send you out of the class and you will miss your lesson. _________________ ~Welcome to LG-15- PM me for help!~

Autumn - Oh I'm sorry. Did your little angel tell you that was a bad word? Or is that just something your pulling out of your own ass? [Sighs] Whatever Ms. Douche. Its called freedom of speech. _________________ "Would you rather be dumber than you look or look dumber than you are?" -Jonas

Ms. D~ No, there is nothing wrong with either approach--science or religion. What's important is to be conscious of how both are based in philosophy and to ask yourself what your own philosophy is. _________________ ~Welcome to LG-15- PM me for help!~
